I feel she should say Aap

It looks decent😉

But I have no issue with Tum also😆

Since they started as teacher student and not married officially I feel Aap se Tum should happen gradually and not overnight. I have nothing against wife calling husband tum or with his name. If you are of same age it's always tum-tum. But with age difference it takes time.

Like Anokhi had said Aap bade ho respectable ho.

So this all of a sudden calling tum feels weird

I have always wondered why Indian languages have so many versions of 2nd person pronoun unlike a simple "you" in English. It makes things so complicated. On top of that, the "tu, tum, aap" in Hindi has different connotations from "tui, tumi, aapni" in Bengali.

IMO jiske side se jo tha wahi rehna chahiye. Tum from Shaurya and aap from Anokhi. It doesn't look like discrimination in this case as long as both respect each other equally. Also solves the problem if shifting between tum and aap.

Nothing wrong in Anokhi addressing her husband as Tum. If she was addressing her professor as Tum, that would be offensive.

I’ve voted ‘no’. I don’t believe about calling him ‘aap’ because of the gender thing, but he is much older than her and at least for that, the respect should be given. My opinions can change though. Let me think about it!

I am okay with anyone calling anybody tum or aap as per their wish. Heck, I call my dad as well Tu and my mom's generation in my family also calls their husband Tu. It has nothing to do with age, gender or relationship.

But but...there's something about Anokhi's aap for Shaurya that I adore❤️ So, my vote for No as of now. Maybe with time, I'll like tum as well...depends on the transition they show. If she suddenly calls him tum after learning the truth about him sending the bus away, it would look very rude, as if misunderstanding him for trying to sabotage her attendance in the seminar and insulting him. I hope their is some build up!

PS - I also feel it could be Shagun's dream😆
