Also the Story was strong and did not bend to suit any actor or his popularity ( most of those actors were new comers then). I am sorry I didn’t mean to offend. Buniyaad is a legend no one can touch but it had this arc where prince (satbeer was prince right, that’s what his half brother Jay and boss used to call him) went on a revenge spree , he was the illegitimate child etc and Mangla and him had chemistry but She married to save him , hubby wasn’t an out and out villain but ultimately reformed eventually to only die of cancer. I just feel mota mota this story will head that way: veer will reform but die and asli villain papa niklenge …

Please don't be sorry. Its just a discussion. Yes you are right, apart from the logic of how the triangle was formed in Buniyaad (Jay and Mangla were childhood sweethearts and Satbeer came later), the writers killed off Jay by cancer but Mangla and Satbeer never married. Here also I feel Veer will get redemption by death in the end as the show makers are still promoting this story as a " pyaar ki dastaan" in the promos. But being a post-partition saga, now Randheer can have a story of his own maybe in politics with his mother since the devar-bhabhi angle is complicated here. The sad part is that the writers being obsessed with Veer have totally wasted a good partition backdrop and talented actors.

to be honest there is no feeling of partition etc in the show anymore. Not even the dressing and mannerisms of anyone is authentic. They did try to force Veer down : not sure why two marriages were necessary: if ultimate goal was to get them married pehle hi kar dete? Veer will die for sure and once married I don’t see AmDheer reuniting so this might go like parallel lives type where they remain friends but don’t unite? Randheer taking revenge is gonna go for sometime : and this is going to hurt Amrit : although to be fair Randheer was never the badla type angry young man… his character arc has also changed suddenly! Wasn’t he the one calming Bhanu down during partition…

From now on I won't even watch clips of this ghatiya show which promotes a Villain as a hero. I will watch these people offscreen content and be happy with that.
