Nihal was fantastic with Julie number, sounded like a fresh number from current times, he is currently the best in boys

Sayali is best with Asha bhosle songs and this song from the train is one of a difficult asha number. Sayali was very good. Hard to decide but may be she was a bit better

Danish starts with his usual screaming alaap and that was enough to give him thumbs down. He wastes about 2 minutes in every performance. The rest of the song was ok in parts where he did not scream where not needed, which was very little. Omg, what a horrible ending alaap. Extra screen footage and sar dard alag. What a mess. The judges are out of their minds, paisa bolta hai

Anjali's alaap was short and sweet. What a contrast and overall a lot better and balanced performance. Some stretched alaaps were a bit too much. Definitely wins this round

Sawai starts with a very balanced alaap, this song suited his voice like a glove. What a pleasant soothing performance. His ending alaaps were exceptional

Arunita did what was required for this number but there was only so much she could do. The song was not a right song in comparison to Sawai's song, so I think Sawai was a winner here.

Nihal: Honestly thought this was one of his best performances of the season. I find him really inconsistent, some weeks I don’t enjoy him but then he has episodes like today which end up really impressive.

Sayli: Shes been putting out consistently good performances week after week, but unfortunately I didn’t think she sang well today. Sounded sub-par to her standard.

Danish: Last few weeks I thought he really fell flat and had been regressing. Returned back to form today and thought he sang really well. Great bounce back performance in my opinion.

Anjali: I missed her performance, which is unfortunate as I had been really looking forward to hearing Arunitas harmonium. Will have to listen later.

Sawai: Worst performer today by far, and its not even close. I don’t know what the judges were listening to, but I thought he butchered an amazing song. Was off key and it was just painful to listen to. He’s just also really inconsistent, where some weeks he sounds great in his genre but then days like today he annihilates a classic.

Arunita: I think have gotten so used to her stellar performances that it’s more noticeable if she’s not as flawless. She’s been overworked with the amount of songs given for preparation, and felt could hear a little of the strain today. Overall, I always enjoy her performances regardless and the promo for tomorrow’s song sounds excellent.

Today's episode I liked Nihal , Arunitha and Anjali's performances the most . Nihal was amazing and was better than Sayli today and Arunitha was good as usual and was much better than sawai though. I didn't enjoy sawai's performance and felt like he was screaming a bit . In my opinion Nihal and Arunitha should have won instead.

Arunita as usual was flawless, amazing variations & her voice modulation is just awesome, it brings in the feel of the song.
Nihal was damn good, sayli not upto her level, though she was still good.
Danish did well,though personally his song grated my ears as usual at some places.
Anjali was technically perfect, but I have heard much better renditions of this song.
Looking forward to Tu chanda & kalank song by aru & pawan tomorrow.

These discussion threads every weekend is something else 😆 the way we are obsessing over these contestants damn ITv serial would want us to root for their shows like this 😆

I didn’t watch the episode but came to read the comments, and the amount of haters around stuns me.

The quality on here has gotten so low. I remember in the beginning, everyone was courteous . We all had our favourites but everyone was civil.

I’m sure, most old times who stopped watching around the time of Nachiket elimination are glad they did.
