I actually wish Ishqi had other strong characters by her side... they made her an orphan with a submissive Mausi and a drunk Mausa ... if the leap happens, I do want her to have some solid people around and not toxic like Malhotra / Sarla.

You stole my words. 🌸 After all what Ahaan has seen her do for Sonu, her maasi and Rhea for that matter, all the little things she does, he just needs to have some basic trust. Childhood issues and internal struggles doesn't justify lack of empathy, trust and a narrow-one-sided thought process. I was so sad for Ishqi today that I went to watch Sadda Haq for Param. 😂💕

I was not surprised with Ahaan, but I was annoyed with Mausi - she should know Ishqi better. And at least stand up for her. I am just happy she walked away without listening to anyone.

I think Ahaan was upset because he does care for Ishqi and he didn't want her name to be tainted by this ordeal . It was like Ishqi's dream ... she knows he will stand up for what is right but considering she can't speak the truth his reaction was expected.

On another note... one of the show's director shared the BTS picture of Ishqi (poolside bench scene) with the song Agar Tum Saath Ho (the male chorus part) from Tamasha. I found it interesting just because of the song's lyrical significance.

That’s very interesting... I think when the dust settles on all this and we obviously don’t know what else will happen but if Ahaan is very unfair to her then Ishqi might be very disappointed in him and not like him so much any more.

At the moment they have an attraction and seems one of the main basis of her liking him is that he really helps her out and is on her side even if in hidden ways. So if that all changes then given how much self-respect Ishqi has for herself I very much doubt she’ll be pining for him. But let’s see - Ahaan might surprise us?

I agree after leap it won't be just Ahaan disliking her for breaking off the wedding, it will be Ishqi who will be angry with him as well. I think it will be Ahaan who will call the police on her as Mayank pushed his dad and he is hurt. Ahaan will think Ishqi did it. I guess Mayank's mom or someone else save Ishqi from police but she will hate Ahaan for what he did.

Yeah that is the angst ... and I feel so bad for Mayank’s parents - that is why I want my plot list to happen. I do want Mayank’s parents to be part of Ishqi’s lives.

Right now I just don't want Ahaan to call police on ishqi. It will be so bad😭

I hope the police looks at cctv and all this is revealed before the leap. Ishqaan can part ways for different reasons but not this.
