lol ... i think this was done on purpose to show how some women need a person like Ishqi around who have enough strength to face the truth and break the shackles of society. Savi got the courage after talking to Ishqi and I feel Sonu will follow the same pattern.

That is the likely setup... but I don't want Ishqi's direct involvement in this. Mainly because this truth needs to come out for Ahaan on its own so he can evaluate all the garbage he has been fed by Dadi over the years. Ever since he has realized his feelings for Ishqi, he is placating all of Dadi's lectures on Ishqaan so i don't want this reveal to happen because of Ishqi.

As i said she was gaslighting the situation trying to side with Dadi / Sarla to make herself appear superior in terms of bahu material at the expense of Ishqi. That was a pretty snide comment and I didn’t like it.
