Since today's episode has a good amount of Shaurya-Shaan-Aastha, mere taraf se ek post to banta hai.

So we have Aastha asking Shaurya to do what he wants and not get swayed by Devi's mahaanta. Shaurya asked her to keep her concern to herself. Though today he was less harsh on her. Did it register to his mind that Aastha was supporting him? While he was taking Devi to her room, he thought about suppressing his guilt. Was the guilt about treading on two boats at once? Or was it about Aastha?

Shaan tells Aastha that they have lost the battle. Their son is no more theirs. Someone should tell him that he never tried to fight one. When Aastha tried to fight he stood silent. When Tej threatened Aastha with a court case, I doubt he said anything. When he and Aastha stood on opposite sides, how could they fight for their son. Shaan had given up long ago. Shaurya was with him but he lost his son. He says his son is practical, lacks emotions. He refuses to do anything for his son besides praying for him.

Aastha on the other hand is not giving up so easily. She didn't fight so long and the reasons could be many, but she is willing to fight this time. She doesn't think she has lost her place in her son's life unlike Shaan. She feels guilty for not being there for Shaurya, she perhaps regrets her decision of leaving Shaurya with the Sabharwals but she is not ashamed of her decisons. That is why she can still look Shaurya in the eye and tell him with full rights to do the right thing.

Aastha's last dialogues about the thinking of Sabharwal men being as firm as the foundation of a building. Shaan is still the same even after 25 years. He could not take a stand then, he cannot take a stand now. Shaan never tried to change the age old traditions of his family. He lost his wife, he lost his family but he could not speak a word against the unfair rules. His love was weak. Aastha knows Shaurya's love is strong. He will not bow down to the oppressive rules. Shaurya might feel that his most difficult task before getting Anokhi is to mend relations with Aastha. He doesn't know the bigger challenge is his family's rigid, inflexible mentality. They sacrificed Shaan's happiness for saving their tradition, will they care for Shaurya's?

Shaan is such stupid, spineless moron. He better redeem himself soon. He should learn from his son. SS creates mess of everything but at least he tries.

I was quite hoping you would make one post on their scenes..

Now, I do see where does Shaurya gets some of his paagalpan wale traits😆 in a situation like this one, all Shaan cared about is having Noor back in his life... It was so much fun to see that as well.... And coming to mending relations, I couldn't hear what Shaurya was saying in his mind... Was it... I have supress guilt or hate? 😆

But I do believe that they are actually fighting a lost battle or they have lost without fighting... Whatever Shaurya does now will seemingly be because of Anokhi's condition... I do want Astha to find out about that scold Anokhi.... Just like she did when she was forcing Shaurya to apologize!

For me best part was Astha looking at Shaan leaving angrily and saying Typical Saberwal man's thinking is root cause of all the problems... But her believing Shaurya is different or capable to not be one of them is absurd to me.... He might be stronger than all.. But he does not think before saying or doing something out of his male ego... He may realize it later... But words are always fired first...

Shaan's character has gone from bad to worse. Sometimes I think he is more of a misogynist than Shaurya. I remember in the flashback scene he not only didn't support Aastha, on the contrary pleaded with Tej to decide the fate of Aastha's parents. Even now he would rather make Shaurya suffer than change his family.

He even blamed Anokhi for kidnapping and acted nicely with Shagun when she was manipulating him 🤢

@bold: Shaan never had any intention to fight any battle. Shaan thinks the battle is to make Shaurya listen to them as parents, but for Aastha the battle is for Shaurya and Anokhi's happiness. So she will fight even if Shaurya doesn't allow her.

@underline: I think Aastha believes Shaurya is capable of change, a quality neither Shaan or his brothers ever showed. She has seen how Shaurya apologized to her despite his hatred. So perhaps this gives her hope.

@bold- I really wanted to understand this. Initially I thought that it is about Anokhi. But he actually turned a little towards Aastha when he said that. When Devi asked Shaurya to get engaged to Shagun, he did say that what she's doing is emotional blackmail. So I think he could see through what Aastha tried to explain. I also feel that he knows Aastha cares for him but is upset with her that she didn't fight for him. So somehow, I feel it is an answer to whatever Aastha told him.

I was interested in Shaan-Aastha journey, Shaan's character growth, especially during the ragging track.. The way he responded to the media, I thought he can fight for his son. On one side, he wants Aastha back in his life, on the other, he wants Shaurya to be in a loveless marriage. Shaan doesn't know anything about his own Son. He doesn't have any rights over Shaurya coz what did he even do for him?

Even with Aastha, he doesn't want to understand her perspective. He just wants her back. What did he actually do that she can trust him and come back to him? Nothing.

Exactly! That's why I love Aastha !

Aastha's last dialogues about the thinking of Sabharwal men being as firm as the foundation of a building. Shaan is still the same even after 25 years. I lost my hopes on Shaan. He couldn't take stand for his wife neither for his son. Can he not talk to his son? Shaurya did come to talk to his dad whenever he felt that he is low. What's stopping Shaan now?

Shaurya still doesn't know what exactly happened with Shaan-Aastha. I feel he will take a firm stand for Anokhi :)

My responses in pink. Sorry for the long post :)
