Since today's episode has a good amount of Shaurya-Shaan-Aastha, mere taraf se ek post to banta hai.
So we have Aastha asking Shaurya to do what he wants and not get swayed by Devi's mahaanta. Shaurya asked her to keep her concern to herself. Though today he was less harsh on her. Did it register to his mind that Aastha was supporting him? While he was taking Devi to her room, he thought about suppressing his guilt. Was the guilt about treading on two boats at once? Or was it about Aastha?
Shaan tells Aastha that they have lost the battle. Their son is no more theirs. Someone should tell him that he never tried to fight one. When Aastha tried to fight he stood silent. When Tej threatened Aastha with a court case, I doubt he said anything. When he and Aastha stood on opposite sides, how could they fight for their son. Shaan had given up long ago. Shaurya was with him but he lost his son. He says his son is practical, lacks emotions. He refuses to do anything for his son besides praying for him.
Aastha on the other hand is not giving up so easily. She didn't fight so long and the reasons could be many, but she is willing to fight this time. She doesn't think she has lost her place in her son's life unlike Shaan. She feels guilty for not being there for Shaurya, she perhaps regrets her decision of leaving Shaurya with the Sabharwals but she is not ashamed of her decisons. That is why she can still look Shaurya in the eye and tell him with full rights to do the right thing.
Aastha's last dialogues about the thinking of Sabharwal men being as firm as the foundation of a building. Shaan is still the same even after 25 years. He could not take a stand then, he cannot take a stand now. Shaan never tried to change the age old traditions of his family. He lost his wife, he lost his family but he could not speak a word against the unfair rules. His love was weak. Aastha knows Shaurya's love is strong. He will not bow down to the oppressive rules. Shaurya might feel that his most difficult task before getting Anokhi is to mend relations with Aastha. He doesn't know the bigger challenge is his family's rigid, inflexible mentality. They sacrificed Shaan's happiness for saving their tradition, will they care for Shaurya's?
