As per insiders, Salman didn't get 230 Cr. from Zee 5 as reported before. It was released by ZEE5 in coordination with DTH partners on profit sharing basis. The MG paid by Zee 5 was less than 100 Cr including music & satellite rights. Zee acted as OTT distributor only. Also out of the reported 100 Cr. only 50 cr. was paid upfront. Zee is now making excuses to not pay the remaining as the movie bombed badly due to piracy. Thats why Salman is pissed off with pirates and anyone speaking bad about the movie.

Salman should focus on making some decent films instead of going after people for expressing their opinions.
