Butting in just to say that I agree about fans making us hate characters. Same happened to me earlier, I started to dislike virat because of the excessive defence of his fans. It made me see all the faulrs, I could have looked over.

I had to avoid some posts to start seeing things objectively again.

Happens...some people avoid situations in order to not hurt the other person, while they don't realize that it would complicate the situation and probably would hurt the person one is protecting even more.. Virat does not know that everytime Patralekha enters his room with that feeling which is known to both of them.. He has complicated the situation, wronged two women in a way and evading the situation.. to some extent.. He may take his time...but he would have to deal with it some day.. Sooner the better...

I joined in as Virat's fan.. Came in this forum as his appreciator.. I dont hate him.. but defence that I see for his actions.. is something that bothers me.. DOnt want to reach a stage where I dislike Virat..

I used to understand him earlier but now I don't at times. And, the comparisons being thrown just to defend him is plain annoying at times.

Just avoid some posts if you find that it doesn't make sense to you. Then, you'll be able to look at things at neutral approach.

Well thats your prerogative; and it is obvious that if people feel fans can make them dislike Sai then fans will obviously make people dislike others as well.

However, we are not trying to make this an eye for an eye; there is no competition but it seems the forum is bent on trying to make some competition and put fans against each other. Conversations can happen in a balanced way; however what i have seen is:

1. When did I say this - Arre baba, when did i say that you said anything; i am just saying what I have generally felt

2. You said this and it was taken the wrong way - gosh, i said that about myself because I can only talk about myself here.

3. You have said this about Sai so I will say this about Virat - i was not looking for a competition here; i am just stating my opinion.

These are just some examples of the hostility i have faced; there was no effort to try and make friends or try and explain POVs with respect; i kinda felt pounced upon.

Perhaps it is a good idea to avoid some posts so as to be objective

I think the defence should be pointed out to the individual people defending him and not generalised. I kinda feel like everyone's mindset is grouped into one mindset.

Dear.. That was not an argument for me.. And I have apologised multiple times for the same if you felt that way... But if at all I need to do it once more.. I will do it again.. I am sorry it looked like an argument to you, I just answered your questions (which was a discussion of sorts for me in that post) and regarding other misunderstanding I have apologised there also and will again here as well.. Extremely sorry for the miscommunication/misinterpretation.

I dont want the interaction that I have had on this forum with some one to be clubbed under argument. So multiple apologies if thats what it would take you to not refer it with that term or some bitterness.We are here to discuss a show/characters.. Lets not be bitter about a fellow forum mate. 🤗

Hmm, I'm an occasional poster myself and never took a contrasting opinion as hostility.

Maybe, we should stop taking things personally ? See, when we write things we can easily misunderstand the tone. I just try to take the points and discuss because that's why I come to this forum to understand the show better. I don't take people not agreeing with me as an affront. It's just the extrapolation, exaggeration and sometimes irrational defence that gets me.
