Since the post was talking about why not sympathise with her, so I only focused on answering from that perspective. Virat can not be absolved of his involvement in the whole mess. He was an equal participant, but she always had the option to walk out or chose to disclose the truth to Samrat which she didn’t.

It is not about hous wives verses working women. How could it be?

Pakhi is well educated and interested in job. That we got to know when she asked Bhavani permission. She is technically competent in searching jobs for Mohit.

Even housewives are doing something or the other these days to become self sufficient, they are developing skills and utilising them in different ways.

So Pakhi could do something or the other..that keeps her occupied.

There are many women who are skilled but prefer to stay home.

Virat said that he will not give the position he had given to Pakhi to anyone else. He did not say that he will have her in his heart throughout his life. There is a difference.

Even if Sai would not have been in picture, Virat would have stopped thinking about Pakhi. He would have only seen her as his brother’s wife or his friend.

Interesting take, love sometimes makes a person weak and affects their decision making ability. I’m sure she is not the first woman in history who has been a fool in love.

This is simply not true. Even after their respective marriages, he called Pakhi his pyari cheez and mere dil mein pakhi ke liya jo pyaar.

One can say “don’t expect him to move on so quickly feelings don’t have on and off button” same Liberty should be extended to the woman then, at her own pace whatever her preferred time line is?

If Pakhi had not married Samrat for the reason as in the story and if she had not abused Sai, one could have sympathised with her. She married Samrat with a wrong motive, to stay close to her ex who was her husband’s brother. Even if Virat wasn’t Samrat’s brother and just his friend, it isn’t right.

If she had married Samrat since it was too late to call off the wedding, since she was already committed to Samrat, it would have made a big difference.

Again what is wrong or right / morality differs from person to person it’s not black and white. She asked Virat to call off the wedding and he asked her to marry his brother with the condition she will be the only to have ever reigned his heart — and she chose her lover over her would be husband in a moment of weakness, like many woman who have been a “fool” in love. Emotions cloud your judgement.

Samrat has been wronged no doubt whether by Virat and Pakhi or only Pakhi/Virat depends on a person’s POV.

Fair enough, why do you think she decided to not work initially? Bhavani set some rules though and she knew it was the condition, something like Chavan Bahus don’t go out for work. She was comfortable with it.

That was after how long since Pakhi had got married? He would have never loved her throughout his life. He would have eventually stopped having any feelings for her after moving to CN, respecting the relation he shares with her.

Yes, same liberty can be extended to the woman, who said no? She could have taken time to move on, she could have tried to move on. But did she? She never even married Samrat with the right motive, she never had plans to move on. She wouldn’t have done what she is right now doing if Sai or any other girl wasn’t in picture in Virat’s life whom he loves, but she would have always only tried to have him in her heart. Let’s assume that Samrat was here, would she have respected her relationship with Samrat the way Virat is? Even if Virat had some feelings for her initially, he never told her that, he had unintentionally given her mixed signals, didn’t actually ever tell her that he still had feelings for her. Only on the day of his marriage, was he about to say and he did, but after returning to CN, on the terrace too, he only told her that she is his brother’s wife and his friend.

Pakhi did not respect their relation like Virat did. Virat gave vachan during his wedding with utmost sincerity whereas Pakhi kept waiting for Virat to marry her somehow, she never even saw Samrat or respected her own groom. I am not saying that she was entirely wrong, she was in love but she shouldn’t have married at all. I say the same for Virat too, circumstances made him take the decision but he shouldn’t have laid those conditions to Sai.

Both should have married respecting the institution of marriage, the partner to whom they were about to get married. Virat atleast made amends to his mistake after getting married by respecting his marital relationship and being loyal to his wife, Pakhi isn’t. Not only is she disrespecting her marriage, her spouse, she is acting stubborn, stuck in her past, growing more vile day by day harming people whom she dislikes. It was never love and that has turned into obsession and zid now. She is not willing to even look at herself or her actions even after she is being corrected by Virat.
