Hi friends, thanks for the likes, comments and motivation. I am not from Hindi belt. Pl excuse if any grammatical mistakes are there in the Hindi dialogues. Had a hectic day today. So came up with a short update today. Hope you understand.
Part - 6
Shiva hugged Dev affectionately and congratulated him whole heartedly.
“Mubarak ho mera bhai”
Dev could feel the warmth in Shiva’s hug and he hugged Shiva back with moist eyes. Dev’s life turned upside down in one day. When he came back from Rishita’s house with heavy heart, he wanted to hug Gaumbi and cry his heart out. But the situation that was prevailing in the house didn’t allow him to do that. But, the hug that Dev was so desperately longing for, came unexpectedly from Shiva. Dev couldn’t hold back his tears any more. He hugged Shiva tight and burst into tears. Shiva thought Dev is deeply hurt by his taunts and he felt more guilty about his behavior towards Dev a few minutes ago. Shiva fought his tears back while cursing himself for causing so much pain to his brother.
Gaumbi, Dhara and Krish were relieved to see Dev and Shiva hugging each other and sharing a precious moment.
“Shiva! ek pal ke liye hum sab ko dara diya! Yesa mazaak kabhi math karna”, Gaumbi said wiping his tears.
Shiva parted away from Dev and tried to lighten the mood.
“Are Gaumbi! Shaadi ka ghar hai...masti mazaak tho honi chahiye na?”
“Haan bilkul.... par yesa mazaak tho bilkul nai”, Dhara hit Shiva’s head gently.
“Bhabhi! Itna pyar se kya maarti ho Shiva ko? Roz do roti extra khaya kar. Ye Shiva ko achi se maarne ke liye kaam aayegaa”, Krish gave free advice to Dhara.
“Kya bola?” Shiva turned to Krish with fake anger.
“Jab se tum is darti par janam liya h na tabse me tere liye do roti extra khate aarah hu. Ab dikhau tujhe?”, Shiva started chasing Krish. Krish went and hid behind Dev and Shiva tried to pull Krish to front. Suddenly Shiva noticed Dev’s tears didn’t stop yet.
“Abey! Aur kitna royega? Tu to yesa ro raha ki shaadi ke baad is ghar se tera bidaai hojayga aur tu wo maami ke ghar ke ghar jamai ban jaayega”
When Shiva mentioned about ‘ghar jamaai’ Dev was more hurt thinking about Janardhan’s demand. He stood silently staring somewhere without any purpose. Dhara touched Dev’s shoulder and asked with concern
“Dev! Tum teek tho ho na?”
Dev didn’t reply.
“Tu yesa nai maanega! Ruk... abi aata hu.”, Shiva nodded his head disapprovingly and brought some rasgullas from fridge and fed Dev.
“Mu mitta karo apni”, while wiping Dev’ Tears Shiva continued “Ab serial heroine ki tarah Rona chod de aur apni shaadi ki kushi manale”
Kaisi kushi?
Hearing Raavi’s question Shiva was shocked and turned towards the door from where her voice came from.
