Viewers gathered in street protesting the death of ML of the TV series😛 (as they knew he died in book).

Guess what? He died in Series as well even after so much protest.

I tried to understand the difference between TVR and TRP, but gave up after a couple of cursory Google searches. 😆

Just realised that the switch from TAM's TVR to BARC's TRP (allegedly for political reasons 😲) only happened some six odd years ago.

Speaking of successful protests by fans, I think IPK would probably be at the top of the list? They virtually made the show shut down once Barun left rather than replace him with someone else.
