Sai took care of Virat night and day for the next two days while he fully enjoyed it. On the third day she called Mohit to stay with his brother for a few hours because she had to attend a few important classes. Meanwhile Virat also called him and asked him to get him a bouquet of flowers. Mohit happily bought it as he was pretty sure his Sai Vahini would forgive after this.

Sai found her husband in the green space of the hospital, sitting on a bench and taking fresh air.

« You are here while I was looking for you everywhere. », she complained.
« Come sit here and take the fresh air with me. », he gesture her to sit next to him.

She noticed the flowers and thought someone had come to visit him in her absence. After a short pause he stood up and tried to tell her something but his courage just sprinted away. He turned around and closed his eyes trying to get his courage back. She watched him surprised. He turned around again and pulled her up to face her.

« There is something I wanted to tell you since a long time. I... I... I love you Sai. », he finally confessed.
« Huh ? », she looked at him in shock for some time then managed to get back to senses, « Listen, if you are saying this to take me back to the Chavan Niwas then please stop. »
« No Sai. This is something I have in my heart for so many days. », he tried to explain.
« Stop Virat Sir. We both know you are committed to someone else. Then why are you lying to yourself and to me too ? », she asked.
« I am not committed to anyone. Not anymore since we got married. It took me long to understand but you have always affected me. It's when I stayed away from you for three days during my training I understood that without you my life is incomplete. I tried to tell you during Holi but I couldn't. », he explained.
« But you broke off all the ties with me. », she said with her eyes welling up.
« I was stupid. I didn't trust you and ousted you from the house and my life. It was the biggest mistake of my life. », he admitted.
« But you love Pakhi didi. », she reminded him.
« I never did. I was infatuated with her. I have spent only two days with and started to think that it was more than that but when I think about it there was always you in my mind. Even when she got married to Jeeva, I was in admiration for you. When she got married to my brother, she should have been in my mind as I had just lost my love but even then the only one who was in mind was you, Sai. You had a huge impact on me and I was really attracted to your personality but I brushed it off as I believed I was in love with someone else. It took me so long to understand my real feelings. », he shared all the things he was keeping inside for so long.

Sai's tears started rolling down but she was too numb to say anything. Virat looked into her eyes, begging to give a reaction.

« But you promised Pakhi didi always to love her. », she managed to say.

Virat closed his eyes as he knew he was the one to be blamed for her being stuck at Pakhi and the promises he had made to her. He needed to clear this out that the promise was broken long ago.

« It was broken the day we got married. I offered her my friendship the day she married my brother but she expected much more which I didn't want. I spoke to her after you went to Gadchiroli and I told her that my heart beats only for you. Sai I really love you. », he said.
« I don't know what to say. », she replied innocently.
« What do you feel about me, Sai ? », he asked.
« I don't know. », she sat down on the bench to register all the things he said to her. « I just know that despite the blame I put on you of being Aaba's killer, I didn't want our marriage to be a deal one. But see, I had to accept it because of you and the neighbors. Now that my heart and mind have accepted the deal, you are telling me that you love me ? », she said.
He sat next to her, « But you also told me not to expect anything from you and you were ready to leave me once you will be a doctor. »
« Haan toh aur kya karti ? Act like an abla nari and beg for your love and my rights as a wife ? If you didn't want me then I also didn't want you. », she complained innocently.
He smiled, « I made a mess, didn't I ? You have built a wall around your heart so that I can't get in. But do you think one day you can forgive me for the deal, for not trusting you and throwing you out of the house ? »
« I have already forgiven you, you know that, but I don't know if I can forget it. », she said looking at him.
« That's a start and I don't need anything else. A hope is all I need. Who knows maybe one day you will fall in love with me. », he said.

She looked away, embarrassed. He picked the flowers and extended to her. She looked at him surprised.

« Yeh kya hai ? », she asked.
« Woow so you don't know what it is ? It is called a bouquet of flowers. », he replied sarcastically.
« Oh please you know what I meant to say. Why this ? », she replied.
« Please will take you it. », he requested.
« You are the patient. Shouldn't I be giving you flowers ? », she asked.
« For a change let the patient offer some flowers to the one who took care of him. », he said.
« Ok, Mr. Teda. », she took the flowers with a smile.
« Teda par tumhara. », he winked at her making her blush.


The officers dropped Pakhi off at the Chavan Niwas. She was welcomed like a queen. Kaku offered Karishma's poisoned tea and their favorite biscuits. Pakhi asked for one more cup, then one more, then again one more. Everyone was worried to see her drink five cups at once.

« They served me empty cups doing by beizzati. », she cried.
« Lekin kyun ? », Kaku asked.
« Because of Sai. She must have told them to do my beizzati. », she said.
« Bilkul bhi nahin. Stop pakaoying khayali pulao in your head Patralekha vahini. », Virat said.

He was standing on the other side of the door, holding Sai's hand. Everyone was shocked to hear that not only did he address to her by her full name but also by vahini. Ashwini and Mohit smirked.

« Now you also will do my beizzati because of her ? By the way didn't you both say you will wear a shoemala but now you are inseparable. Besharmon ki tarah ek dusre ko maaf bhi kar diya. », Pakhi slow clapped.
« You should see yourself in the mirror. », Virat said.

Frustrated, angry and heartbroken, she was taken aback by Virat's words. At that exact same time a vermala of chappals landed on her from upstairs.
