No, that's too cliche. I hope they don't go that route. People shouldn't be in death beds for male leads to realise their mistakes. Normally, anyone would be worried if someone they know is battling for life. A redemption triggered by that desperation means nothing.

I know but he need a big jolt to shake him up. I don't see any other option. Also Farhaad mentioned Raghav writing diary which they never showed on the show 🤪 They will use diary to justify half of his doings. They won't show any redemption for Raghav but they will justify it by telling us he was fighting with his conscience all along

Reminds me of that Psycho Saiyyan VM.

I may wish to see a lot of things but I just don't expect too much from the script. Why set myself up for massive disappointment?

I will watch until it becomes unbearable.

Also Farhad telling him he was cute didn't feel appropriate to me. All said and done, they have an employer-employee relation which never goes away. Farhad had teased him indirectly in the past and Raghav had told him to shut up. I would have been ok with that. Also, I can't believe Farhad is just ok with the status quo after his strong reaction to what Raghav did to Pallavi. It's like they went to Hyderabad and lost the essence of the show.

As for Raghav's character... man they spent so much time and effort building up his don image, all this clowning about wasn't necessary. I agree with everyone that he doesn't need to try to be funny, he is anyway just by his regular mannerisms and one-liners.

You know what? I actually didnt mind Farhad Raghav scene..yes cheek pulling was a lil off but overall it did bring a smile to my face.. I just look at it as Raghav letting Farhad get away with these things like he has in the past.. Farhad does pull his leg and he is the only one who can get away telling him off on his face.

Also Farhad's stand in this whole matter, I feel, is the same as Amma.. he is just happy his Anna is settled and that too with the best possible girl he could think of..

Well lately, he's not getting any happiness that he can record in the diary. Aur Amma ki saree leke rone ki zaroorat hi nahin hai. Amma in the flesh is beating him up and making him cry.

I only attribute this to bad writing. The Raghav they initially presented, the Raghav we've all been psychoanalysing and theorizing over here in threads after threads would do better than this.

This widow track could have been a perfect way to gradually overwhelm him with feelings of doubt and guilt to counter his lack of empathy. But that was done and dusted in a night! The reason we need a long drawn out redemption track is to see Raghav grow and evolve as a person. It's the gradual growth that matters and not the act of redemption itself. It seems like CVs are fixated only on the latter which they'd probably get done in an episode or two –typical ITV male lead redemption arc.

Bad Writing??? Bro, there is nothing like bad writing in ITV. This is the standard of writing. We have to pick and choose what we want to watch.

I was totally sure till Sunday night, this this widow revelation, will be a total letdown. We all knew he would not care or be affected. And we exactly got that. Those who expected different, well too bad. They have strived to give the character an edge, but watering it down with silly humor is not my taste. I will choose edgy Raghav over a clown. There are other ways for sure to induce comic relief, this was sad humor. And redemption. That has and will remain a joke on ITV.

At this point, I'd rather see him as a workaholic who is busy with his business than with these childish things at home.
