I read an article today about how someone put a GoFundMe for her pet and planned a vacation with donations. 🤔

In these difficult times, we all wanna contribute and support people. I would say just be wary. I myself donate to people I know who work on grounds and not on any online donation drives and NGOs until I am sure. I don’t know how much people are filling their own pockets and needy still remains needy.

Is Giveindia that Priyanka is promoting reliable?

If only there were ways to find out how the charitable organizations spend our money...

You can do that with American charities... There are websites that carry detailed reports about how much of people’s donations is spent and how... But I don’t think you can do that with Indian charities

Just surprised that’s all... that people whose one and only connection to India is that they’re BW fans, or fans of just one particular actor, get so involved in everything related to India including Indian politics, telling us how and whom we should vote for

Giving opinion is fine. Criticism too.

But the telling to vote for who they think is right — hilarious. Given that they are champions of free speech.

And after you give vote — if it’s not what they want, again comes the condescending attitude.

I have no idea about Priyanka’s charity. For me, I wouldn’t believe any politicians charity.

I personally donate through my brother who is involved with many groups and they do social work on ground.

But for others who don’t know, just find a local group of the city you used to live in. Or your relatives live in. Or the city your parents used to live in. And help them. Local groups are doing some amazing helping work in these times.

Baki sab changa. Read a nice theory today about not going into extreme and how it helps our own sanity. It was amazing. I already believe it but from today onwards, gonna try and stick to it more n more.

It is all great to hear except that you have already liked a post which was basically not just discussing the members but talking about them in a flippant manner using rude language- and got deleted.😛
