Ek Taang Pe Khada Reh Ke

So after reading Neerja's thread for today's episode, I am wondering what does it mean when someone says "Ek taang Pe khada Reh ke" does it mean literally or its a parallel given? I mean in any case, why would she have to stand on one foot? While taking care she can use both her feet right? I am confused here on what it meant? I am fasting on the episodes, so without watching its more confusing. Has Sai met Virat? Or they are still on PP chapter?

she just meant to say she was on her toes and even after that in instead of acknowledging her, the motive with which she stayed all night foe Virat’s acknowledgement thats she isn’t that bad all gone into drains coz Virat is wanting Sai,

He was hallucinating about Sai, wanted sai, don’t like Pakhi staying all night in hospital, wanted to talk to sai, Infact for sometime he forgot that Pakhi is there all he wanted sai sai sai and sai

Ek pair pe khade hoke kaam karna is an idiom, meaning someone doing work without resting for a minute

Thank you. Now it makes sense. Funny thing is no one asked her to do it. She forced herself on others and now wants credits🤣

And honestly, he has had such a huge surgery, she could not have done anything except wait for him to regain consciousness.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. All the monitoring devices were attached to him, he was unconscious what would Pakhi have done without blinking. I guess stare at him.........
