You know, your words just made me think of another symbolism. On his side, he got the venue decorated, arranged the pandit and mandap, then took his time dressing appropriately... he took all the proper steps for the wedding. But when it was her turn to get dressed, Raghu took one look at her face, understood she was in no mood for it, and told the pandit to "skip the formality". In future too, he would move heaven and earth for her, but if she doesn't want to reciprocate his feelings, he'll be okay with it. He wouldn't force or pressure her, he won't want anything fake between them for the sake of formality. He only wants her real and authentic self around him, no matter what. Just something that came to mind πŸ˜…

The maturity Raghav showed yesterday is very uncharacteristic of him.. he is usually not the one to adjust or compromise for someone else's sake unless its his immediate family. But it was something about how Pallavi turned up at the venue yesterday.. in the simplest of sarees, dragging herself up to the mandap, shoulders slouching..she looked defeated already, like she has given up and handed over herself to destiny. Ab kismat ke bharose chhod diya sab. Those vibes. Raghav has never seen her like that. She has always put up a brave face ready to take on any challenge he throws at her.. Even in her weakest of momemts when he humiliated her infront of her entire family, she looked shocked but not a walking corpse like yesterday. I think that affected him somewhere which is why he got softer on her, was patient and showed restrain which he normally wouldn't. But I am not sure if he will be that accomodating and patient if she keeps turning dowm his advances in future.. One its not his core nature, second he is highly egoistic man. Yesterday she wasn't hurting his ego or anything..If anything she was compliant even if not actively or readily. Whenever she was not, he was struggling to keep it together.. that scene where he makes her hold the garland and puts it around his neck...That's the Raghav we know him to be.. impatient. Again, when she wasnt standing up for the pheras, he waited and then he again had to resort to his dhamkis.. yes he didnt pull her up thank god! But he still got his way. In future, a lot will depend on Pallavi..actually everything will depend on her.. Its her action that will decide his reaction.. I dont see him actively trying to make any effort..If she withdraws, that's when I expect a reaction from him..

They proved yet again what amazing actors they both are! smiley32 Their eyes alone can speak everything... and today, words were not needed at all. They were both doing this for their family... Pallavi's eyes kept flitting to the police station footage while Raghav's kept glancing at the door, waiting for amma and Keerti. The way he was observing Pallavi throughout, you could see the harsh businessman who was finalising a deal, but you could also see a thin layer of concern underneath. It was the empathy of a man who knew what she was going through, because love for family is something he understands all too well. Like he said, he was just as helpless as she was in doing this. It's why he decided to show her the footage first before anything else β€” he wanted her to be assured that her efforts were working. He wanted that same assurance for himself too, that this desperate act of his would finally get him his family. But he knew he had to wait for his own wish, so he gave her hers first.

I especially loved the stepping into the mandap moment for Pallavi... you could see all the conflicted emotions in her eyes, while Raghav who was already seated kept watching her foot, waiting for her to step in. Even later on, Raghav will be the committed one in the marriage, waiting for her as she continues to be in two minds about him. She will want to love him, but afraid to trust him. Even in the false agreement, he had set everything up, but until Pallavi had decided to sign, he was nervous and tensed. In their marriage too, he will try everything there is to try, but he will be helpless until Pallavi makes her decision.

But like always, she will let go of her doubts and take the step forward, giving him what he wants. The difference will be, all these times she has been Pallavi Deshmukh, powerless against him, manipulated to bend to his will. But in love, she will be Pallavi Rao and all the power will be hers, and she will willingly choose the love and happiness he offers her. And one thing is clear, it'll be Raghav protecting this marriage... he was the one holding on to the gathbandhan tightly. Whenever Pallavi falters (as we no doubt will see in the future, with Dfam's emotional blackmail)... Raghu will hold her hands and guide her back to himself and their marriage. Just like he guided her hands to put on the varmaala today 😳

Shivangi, girl, I keep saying this over and over, but your eyes are GORGEOUS smiley42smiley42 I will never stop being in awe of them smiley42 You were on fire today! πŸ”₯smiley32 I keep talking about Sai all the time, but today was totally your day ❀️ I couldn't take my eyes off you, not for a moment ❀️ Such a brilliant portrayal πŸ‘

But amma, can you please wipe that smile off your face? It's sadistic and making me very uncomfortable. I have tried and tried to see you favourably, but you're making it very hard! smiley24 Can you at least pretend that you're a bit worried for what Pallavi might be going through? smiley24

(I know hum forumwaasis bhi inki shaadi celebrate kar rahe hai, but humaari baat alag hai smiley36 We know they're the leads of our show and with this shaadi we can see more of them and less of Dfam smiley39)

Btw, Raghav's expression when Aai and BWA arrived cracked me up a bit. He was like "mera amma aur behen to ab tak pohuncha nahi, but ye SKD ka family bina invitation tapak pada" smiley37 Told you guys, public transport wale humesha aage rehte hai smiley37

It was an amazing episode, simply in terms of chemistry and screen presence. We are so lucky to have these two as our leads! smiley42smiley27smiley32 TV waalo, please please watch the episode at 6.30 pm!

P.S. In the bts when I had seen her in the yellow saree, I hadn't liked it all that much. But somehow today, she looked perfect in it ❀️❀️

P.P.S. I love that when she didn't get up for the pheres, he didn't try to pull her up! That's such a typical scene in all the forced marriages of ITV, but here he actually sat back down again and talked her into doing it... nice one, CVs! πŸ‘πŸΌ

I watched the episode earlier and yes it was all done so so well. The whole setting was beautiful and you could just feel both of their emotions. I did get emotional myself but only for Pallavi. I’ve read all the comments regarding Raghav and I just didn’t see anything but pure coldness and selfishness. My heart broke for Pallavi. Anyone’s would but no, not Raghav. He was on a mission and completed his mission, respectfully. That’s the only positive think I can say about him today alongside him being well prepared which made me smile a little.

Apologies ladies. I wasn’t going to post this but felt I needed to share my sadness. I kept an open mind about today’s episode but wasn’t expecting to feel this way.

As for Shivangi and Sai’s acting, they were just phenomenal today. Pure class just emoting with very few wordsβ™₯️

Oh ho..Vish used the word "withdraw". That is uncharacteristic of you babe.πŸ˜†

Anyway, since you oh-so-lovingly tagged me, I have to respond.😎

Well, I have to agree with Vish here. Raghav does not have the maturity, patience, or silence to actually deal with any situation. And thinking of showing maturity when his advances towards his wife will be met with cold shoulder and aloofness, even disgust, to be honest, Raghav's top will surely blow off. If anything, the guy is persistent and obstinate.

"Majboor" aur "Mazboot" ka mila jula sangam tha. Both were majboor because of family, but both of them were mazboot with their intent of going through hellfire for their respective families. But milega kya kuch isse? Both families are so incredible and incredulous, that I pity these two souls. But have to give it, that I can endure the Raos any day over the Deshmukhs.

Anyway, without digressing, this "majboor" will again mark a re-appearance when Raghav's emotions and feelings get involved. The man who went to such lengths to coerce Pallavi into marriage for his mother, well, I have no doubt, it will be magnified in his own case. Cause, the problem is, Raghav feels everything too intensely, so you can imagine, his love will be too intense for him to handle it alone. It is already so evident, that he is repressing so much of his genuine feelings because of two misjudged incidents. If taking that out of the equation, all his own feelings, plus his guilt (if at all) will overwhelm him. He will need Pallavi's acceptance to anchor himself. But Pallavi will not give him that acceptance, which will drive him to do insane and inane things to access her emotionally, cause she has shut him out.

His entire attention is on the fact that his family will be whole. But then what. He will have to live with her every day. How long will he avoid her? How long will he toe his line with her? How long can Raghav remain unaffected. The man has zero patience. Infact, he did not show patience. He only showed decency. Cause, maybe, it resonated with him, the lengths she could go for family.

Let's see, how "this extreme for family" meeting "widow daughter-in-law", affects Raghav Rao, if at all.

πŸ˜†withdraw, shut off, shut up, block out.. ye sab bade bade aksharo me ek cheat sheet me likhe bheja hai Pallu ko.. in Raghav's den. Baki sab mata ki meher hai !!πŸ˜†

Agar highlight karne bethu to tera post black blacker and blackest ho jayega coz I agree with most of the things you said.. except that I think he was as patient as you can expect him to be.. I mean he gave her those extra minutes everytime she would stop in her tracks and not go with the flow like himπŸ˜† That'sa progress!

Rao's are definitely way better than Deshmukhs ..ek to ginti me kam, compared to D's but I fear when they start living together, inko wahi kitchen politics wala sydrome na ho jaye..

Honestly though, I hope Keerti and Farhad don't become a romantic thing. I would love them to form a friendship instead, based on mutual trust and understanding Very platonic and filled with respect. Very few characters in ITV have the kind of depth and maturity needed for a relationship like this... but these two do ❀️ I want to see that potential being utilised 😳

hein yaar kuch problems πŸ˜† My past experience with itv makes me wary of this πŸ˜† seen too many friendship getting spoiled when best friend-behen happens yeh hi problem hai meri mainly with this shipπŸ˜†

I hope so too to see a platonic friendship between these two.
