Watched 3 episodes back to back...
Here's my 2 cents....
Zoya defo takes Zain for granted! The guy loves her with all his heart....literally wears his heart on his sleeve, poor chap! :)
At a subconscious level, Zoya (being the intelligent girl that she is), has figured this out about Zain
She is focusing all here energies in creating her own place in this family.
But her immaturity comes in the way
From her realising that
Zain is the gateway to this home she considers family
This drama conveys a very powerful message
As to how we take the people we love, so easily, for granted.....
Zain is such a nice guy....a genuinely sweet chap.....but, hasn't he too at some level taken his Mom's unconditional love and service as a done deal...a completely matter of fact ritual....that is second nature to her, and therefore the family
It took a Zoya to understand how thankless Fauzia's job is....
The same Zoya
Who believes her husband is putting his free time to good use by completing her assignments!
Fauzia and Furqanuddin are no different
Fauzia is not particularly happy to hear that her jobless son and his wife are off to their honeymoon
But the minute that changes to a Haj pilgrimage, the same money, becomes well-spent!
Furqanuddin believes Fauzia is completely unjustified in throwing a fit at Zoya
He fails to see however, that she toiled all day in the kitchen, to not be acknowledged for it, at all....
This drama brings out these simple ironies of human relationships so beautifully....in such a nuanced manner....the subtleties are an absolute marvel to decipher....and then, to assimilate and ponder over....
This is the beauty of the dynamics of human equations....there is no right or wrong....no black or white....all that there is, is perspective
As we evolve through this journey called life, it is this perspective that widens....
We care to listen
We care to understand
We care to care
And, this is exactly where "Tanaa Banaa" scores big time in its story telling.....drives home such beautiful life lessons....through every day situations....in Zain's life....in Zoya's life...in our lives....

Zoya - I understand why people are upset with her character, but because I relate to her in some ways, I think she is a nice person in general, but she needs to be a bit more caring towards Zain..because she is actually really nice to almost everyone else in the house..Zain ko bahot easy le liya hai Zoya ne. Fauzia Bhabhi - I get her frustration, but she is taking it out in a wrong manner - I am glad Dadi sat her down..and asked her to treat Zoya like a daughter and not DIL. Also just get some help yaar..khud pe zulm kar rahe ho..aur dusro ko blame kar rahe ho..toh behtar hai, they hire one helper in the house..aisi bhi kya baat hai.
Zebu - Ok honestly, I felt like she should have been thankful to Fauzia for making biryani on her birthday, but her response wasnt nice.
And I love the lyrical OST - it is so beautiful - waiting for the scene where Zain and Zoya dance on the beach - man Daniyal and Alizeh look stunnninggggg together!

LOVED, totally LOVED the “Zain”....”Zoya”....”Z” moment! I was smiling from ear to ear!!😁
The tone for the epi was clearly set!👍
Thereafter, as Billoo’s oneliners continued...from “attitude” to “sabke problems ke liye dua”....the mischievous glint in his eyes not to be missed!
The choice of the child actor playing Billoo is spot on...intelligent, but not for a single moment, precocious!👍
Really liked the scene between Fauzia and Zeb-u-nissa
Nothing saccharine sweet about it...most genuinely done...the “dheeth” comment totally sealing it!👍
Zain was clearly miffed about the Zor ka Jhatka...thanks to the cold shoulder given to him....15 lakhs is after all, no mean feat!
Aur uske baad...jo bhai sahab ka bomb phoota....in typical Zain style...
