Just like Pallavi and her self-respect took a backseat for that horrid family, Raghav and his humanity took a backseat for his family. But the cruelty by Raghav was off the charts.

Raghav verbally disrobed her and Deshmukh's did the rest. But it was all initiated by Raghav. That even Raghav cannot change. Deshmukh's don't deserve to be called a family. But, I don't expect anything of them. I know they are wretched retards. But Raghav was always above all this narrow-minded, leech behavior. He was always about maintaining boundaries and give people a fair chance. Why doesn't Pallavi deserve a fair chance?

Both Pallavi and Raghav are wrong in their actions surely. They assume and don't introspect. But Pallavi's hate has more leverage than Raghav's because Pallavi has been accused of things she never did, and Raghav did all the things he is accused of.

Yes, they are both wrong but Raghav has wronged her in a way that is irreparable. Agree with your above paragraphs completely. What I wonder is if there's anything Raghav can actually do to make amends. Sure, Pallavi may find out one day what happened to Keerti and how Raghav behaved as a madman after that in search for justice for his sister. Even if she becomes sympathetic to all this, it doesn't absolve Raghav of his crimes. He humiliated her two-fold, one by maligning her character by insinuating she had sold herself, and two by making her seem like a greedy, treacherous person, a gold digger.

Let's put aside the useless Deshmukhs and their reactions. The point is that Raghav's intentions were malicious and designed to cause hurt. How can he ever come back from that point of no return? In real life, probably never and because Amma in essence made her marry the person who wronged her, she has no reason to trust mother and son. I want Pallavi to never forget, even if she manages to forgive. Nothing can justify Raghav's actions. I am beginning to think his regret won't be enough. Something else needs to happen, a major incident, that spears his soul and makes him see what it was like to be in her shoes. Sigh... one can hope, right?

Aap ne mujhe fair kaha. Aisa kya kiya maine iss honor ko paane ke liye? 😳

Woh bhawnao me beh gayi likhte likhte🤣. And anyway, demanding a relatable heroine in contrast to a servile doormat is quite reasonable and fair Jean😆

Pallavi needs to grow a spine and become selfish. Hope to watch one day she tells off the family for good.

I have seen many forced marriages on ITV. All of them were trash, for sure. But somehow this was disgusting for me, whatever led to this marriage. It made me sick. The thing is that the entire thing is so out of balance. Had Pallavi done something equally bad or wretched, then this marriage would look so much more at balance. Lekin Raghav has outdone himself in his supposed "crusader for justice" avatar, that my mind and heart always feel inclined to feel bad for Pallavi, no matter what.

Raghav's actions since the Keerti kaand, are so inexcusable, that even Jaya Rao looks like a villain, seeing an alliance in the midst of all these horrible situations. Does she even see the magnitude of what Raghav's actions are and how are they impacting Pallavi? She accepted she is being selfish, but then what. She has given one more reason to Raghav to do his worse. Does she think he will marry Pallavi in the most decent way possible? Doesn't she know how her son is? Keerti and Farhaad have tried to voices of reason here, but is anybody listening? Pallavi is still being treated as a toy.

Does Raghav realize how much he has broken Pallavi? And when she rebuilds herself, I don't even know what she may become. Will she be open enough to accept anything that life offers?

Yes, it's lopsided indeed.

I don't know if they will go the typical ITV route and get the heroine to forgive everyone after they shed some tears, give her gifts, fold their hands and apologize, etc.. ugh...

As for Pallavi being broken, I'm hoping for once that she won't. It will be far more interesting story-wise for her to feel as if she is the one who's going to hold the reins and when the time comes she'll be the one to break him.

Best case scenario is that she accepts the marriage as a fact of life, but that she never truly accepts him as her husband no matter how attracted she is to him. Let him burn for that. He needs to learn that not everything will go according to his wishes and like Farhad said, there are consequences to his actions that he must pay attention to. As for Amma, the more I think of it, the more I am finding fault with her, something I never thought would happen. Raghav will forever try to please her, and I wonder if in all these years she deliberately kept him at a distance so that his longing would make him a plaything. Typical psychology of men's mothers. It may seem like she has good intentions towards Pallavi, but this is Amma, she's way shrewder than her son and even more calculating. In all this, she refuses to even consider the alternative that the marriage might just mean trouble and heartbreak for Pallavi and possibly her son too. Getting him settled down just makes her feel less horrible as a mother.

Broken, not in the sense that she is dead or something. Broken in the sense, he has broken the existent Pallavi down with his actions. Actions have consequences. Just like someone in his past made him the Raghav Rao today. Similarly, we don't know what his actions could turn Pallavi into.

Itni bhi buri nahi hai. Jaya is thinking from a long-term perspective, unlike her short-sighted impulsive son. Although she is thinking of his betterment and implying Pallavi's betterment in the same, she is forgetting, that her son may be a good man. But his goodness is exclusive to only those he considers his own. Not Pallavi. And in all this, no one has considered what Pallavi wants. Everyone is deciding everything for Pallavi. And Pallavi is left at the mercy of her own destiny. Wonder when she will get up and choose to write her destiny, if ever at all.

I really hope they don't show Pallavi being all sweet and ok when she finds out the real reason. She need to kick up a fuss when the time comes.

Here also I understand why they did but they could have showed something went along with the character of RR and Pallu. And then even RR and Pallu was like, did even a lion come? They jumped to how they were pre- lion to post-lion, it was like they never got close to an extent. (That bedroom scene was so out of placesmiley24, RR and Pallu don't even think/ remember about that moment.)

That's what I exactly do. I think from all the sides (my friends call me a good candidate for moderator 😆). And if you do that you will understand why they are behaving such way, and why those things happened and that is really helpful to enjoy a show. Then one thing is there, don't mix logic with ITV shows. That will be a blunder. 😆

🤣 It really felt so out of place!

@bold, Pallavi DID remember the bedroom scene but only bc of Harish 🤣

Yeah, it's annoying that we still get to see and hear all this crap in the name of marriage.
