I don't think in short term, engagement is happening but Shagun's course of action will be determined by her motivation. I think Shagun storyline has potential but I think it needs to be pitched better.

1) Revenge -They can spin a whole story that the shock of engagement breaking caused her parents to be humiliated and impacted health/money wise. The Sab family indirectly punished her by ruining her chances at Cambridge by outing some secret (maybe she lied on application about something). She is back for revenge so she is not going to let go of Shaurya and Sab family easily. She can go as low as she wants here. She can even throw Devi under the bus and pretend she is couple's well wisher while trying to wreck the relationship behind the scenes.

2) Jealousy - She is unable to swallow that Shaurya is happy and is willing to compromise/do things for Anokhi that he never once considered when he was engaged to Shagun. She feels that she is better that Anokhi in every aspect so just for salvaging her pride she wants to prove that she can win Shaurya back and his love for Anokhi is just a phase. She will be making things difficult for Anokhi and constantly getting Anokhi to self doubt herself and Shaurya's love to prove she is better choice.

3) Delusion and protectiveness - She buys into Devi's story that Astha has planted Anokhi and she will eventually destroy Shaurya and Sab family. She thinks Anokhi is leading Shaurya on a merry chase with ulterior motives. She still cares for Shaurya and loves him and thinks he loves her too; he is just blinded by Anokhi temporarily so she will continue to chase him. She gets to be Devi's sidekick in this scenario and the clingy ex who keeps creating MU.

yeah, she will keep plotting but will be in their life without the engagement or a relationship right now. maybe just as an ex and a colleague. but she will keep plotting with devi behind their back. and her motivation could be a mixture of jealousy and revenge. revenge for losing everything - career, studies, family's disapproval (i hope) and Shaurya. but lets see how they decide to move forward with her character with all the practical hurdles that they have.

wohi na, Shaurya sb dekh raha hai. uske precious BM BP kya kar rahe hai, he is watching everything. jab usko jaroorat hai kaun uske saath khada hota hai and kaun nahi. their silence or action, both are going to hit them in the long term because he will gradually move away from them as they get desperate.

I think worrying about workers is CINTAA’s job. They’re not really unionized as I understand.

Yes! Same.. I think I binged until I caught up to the episode prior to this.. and after this scene I was madly hooked. There was something so genuine and pure about this hug, I almost teared up for Anokhi. This scene has all my heart! ❤️

Same....I binged the whole show over 2-3 days and was so happy to see the Anmol take down after this!!! This whole ragging storyline was sooo good.
