This is a sorry post but it is an appreciation post as well. It may become long!

I don't exactly remember when I started watching MHRW but I do remember the day I saw the promo where Pallavi in a function refusing to put mehndi on her hands and RR fighting. If I'm being honest here, I didn't like how the ML looked in the promo. I'm a person who gets attracted to a show or to a ML according to their physical appearance after all we don't know them inside. So my impression of Sai was not so great. Whatever actors have impressed me till now, all of them come under this category. I like the physical appearance first and I'm not ashamed to say this (I'm not talking about the color here! I'm not a racist!).

Then I saw another promo of both ML and FL in a shop. That reminded me of a malayalam show I used to hate and as the Itv is hell behind to remaking I judged that was the same happening there and there goes my remaining interest in the air.

Then I saw a bts video where ML falling on FL with flowers on them. Damn! there the guy looked handsome and I was flat. 😆

I went to hotstar and watched the previous episodes. With each episode the ML improved, I couldn't connect with some scenes but still he made me stay there and watch so I did. And that's how I came here. (I get interested in a show because of the looks of the ML but I stay for the performances and story. This show has done a good job till now.)

Here I only talked about Sai is because, he is the ML. The FL always comes secondary I don't know why may be because I'm attracted to guys! 😆

Eventually I notice the FL (The physical appearance) , here also my likeness towards the character depends on the looks. If I like both leads then I will continue to watch the show till the CVS loose it's charm. It has happened with me alot. I never followed a show till end.

So I have seen alot of posts appreciating Sai but not much on Shivangi, why I don't know! Or may be it was because the posts were there but I didn't see. I realized even I have shown an inclination towards Sai in many episodes so this post is to appreciate Shivangi Khedkar.

For a new actress, I will say that she has impressed me alot may be more than Sai could. (This is not a comparison.)

Today after I wrote the review, I realized that I told about Sai but not Shivangi but why I don't know, and I have been doing that in almost all posts so I want to say sorry to that girl. You are absolutely great in the show Shivangi 👏and I can see you reaching heights in future.

Your emotional scenes, your funny scenes, the innocence you give to the character, all are awesome.

I really admired the scene where Pallavi got scared of RR (The pole scene.). Your eyes are so expressive and damn! I would do anything for that pair of eyes. It's so beautiful.

And then there were scenes you were cute, sweet and adorable, I love all of them. Recently when your character broke down, my heart went out to Pallavi. You had managed to melt my heart. I personally love emotionally draining scenes and I have cried reading them but not watching them but for a change this time while watching you there was lump inside my throat and I couldn't breath. There my likeness towards you as an actress sky rocketed. You go girl and achieve your dreams!

Now I'm waiting to watch a crazily strong Pallavi deshmukh who knows how to give back to Raghav Rao in Raghav's wife's style. 😃

I know we humans are not perfect and I admire that. We can make mistakes and we can repent them as well. So I'm not saying that she is perfect but I just wanted to give her the appreciation she deserves. And practice makes a man perfect, so keep working on yourself. 😳

Ps: It looks like I talked about Sai more than Shivangi but my intention was to appreciate Shivangi. 🤔

Pps: I said, I like a person according to their looks and it is only applicable to the actors not for others. Please don't think I prefer the outlook to the character.

I guess I get connected to Shivangi for the fact that she's very reserved and is not much on SM. She isn't a distant person, just not very sociable and therefore I think she's not posting pictures or ask me's or doing interviews while Sai does that, that's why people are more interested or say vocal when it comes to him.

Nvm, I am only interested in what they show me on tv and both of them are so so good. Shivangi has portrayed the character of Pallavi quite efficiently, her dialogues and acting has been bang on. And she's so so pretty man!!!

Hello, fellow Shivangi fangirl! ❤️🤗

I think I know which malayalam show the promos reminded you of. Is it the one that used to come on Mazhavil and had something to so with handcrafted sarees and textile shop? I haven't watched the show myself, but I remember seeing its promos.

One of the many reasons I started watching the show was because Pallavi in the initial episodes with her hair tied in a bun reminded me of Megha from the show Na Bole Tum Na Maine Much Kaha. The similarities don't end there. Megha and Pallavi are both widows, wear simple pretty sarees and both have that girl-next-door vibes. Shivangi is a natural beauty, graceful and captivating. Though I had quit watching ITV shows years ago, I had often kept track of what was happening on TV and nothing captivated me enough to come back until I saw MHRW promos. I have a thing for stories where women get a second chance at love (Gulaal, NBTNMKK), so naturally a show with that theme, set in Hyderabad, with lots of Telugu dialogues (I legit thought MHRW was a bilingual show when I saw the promos of RR speaking Telugu🤪) and leads with such sizzling chemistry caught my eyes.

Shivangi in particular is a brilliant performer for a newcomer. She's such a breath of fresh air on TV and this might be unpopular, she looks gorgeous in those simple sarees she wears. I actually love the styling of Pallavi, barring a few of her makeup choices. I love Pallavi because she looks so believable and natural, making it easier to relate to her. Coming to her acting, I think she does emotional scenes very well–being heartbroken, frightened, confused–especially this week, she's been nailing it. I agree with you, she's very expressive with her eyes, it was so evident in the way she used them on that day RR accused her. She had a clueless confusion in her eyes–that helpless feeling of being overwhelmed by everything and not being able to fight back. Twitter fans were calling her the literal embodiment of the 😔emoji.

I'm waiting for more of her angst filled emotional moments with Sai, it'll be a treat to watch them both perform.

P.S. I need to gush about how gorgeous she looked today in that orange saree! OMG!! So pretty! I couldn't take off my eyes from her even with Sai on screen. I wouldn't mind if she wears orange her entire life, it suits her so well.❤️

Edit. Just saw her in that red saree. Literal goddess ❤️

Well expressed! Kudos to her performance so far 👏👏

I love her initial scenes with the D-fam, when they are all acting like humans with each other, and seemed like a pretty cute and sweet fam trying to celebrate Manasi's marriage, and all her interactions with Aai and Krishna. The breakdown was one of the high points of the journey so far and very very well done! I loved those scenes where she stood up to RR, but I think it is wonderful how she did those emotional ones too where she was scared for what is to happen to the shop and acted like anyone would in such a situation. Comic timing is amazing for sure, she does give out perfect Tom n Jerry vibes with Sai Ketan onscreen and I think those are the BEST performances for both of them till date coz they come more naturally! 👍🏼

Same like Sneha said, I can relate to the not so social-media friendly persona, coz I really dont know what to do with mine, and I end up deleting more stuff than I add 😆

I saw some of the initial promos before the series started and was intrigued by Pallavi and her story. I wasn’t keen on Raghav in the promos at first, I think they focused on Pallavi more and him as an angry man which didn’t appeal to me at all. Pallavi came across as just adorable, fresh, natural and very different to other FLs. I just knew I had to watch the series for her.

As for Shivangi herself she is modern, down to earth, a crazy fun girl and not at all showy which is why it doesn’t bother me that she doesn’t share he life on SM, whatever she does share is appreciated alongside her acting which for a newbie is brilliant. Yes her eyes are mesmerising and expressions are so good.

Her comedy scenes with Sai are just hilarious, they work really well together. I love how she dresses for Pallavi, the simplicity is just beautiful and I’ve noticed how she always has matching/coordinating bags too!

Hard not to like Sai/Raghav, he is very easy on the eye and I like both equally however I’m always excited to see Shivangi as Pallavi more😊💕

Appreciate your honesty and can totally connect to your thought process because I am kinda similar.. Unless the story is exceptional and can stand alone or is character driven, which is when I dont care how the characters look as long as they suit their respective roles.. I do get drawn to shows, especially romantic shows based on how the leads look individually and together.. In that sense, I do my own look test of the two actors in my mind😆

Plus they should be able to ACT.. coz u can look like a million bucks but if you cant act, then I dont invest my time.

I remember watching the first episode and thinking wow the girl looks pretty.. but Sai in that car scene was like ok.. he is bearded, tough guy, rude an all .. in short was not exactly floored.. but gradually through Raghav I started liking Sai (makes sense?).. his body language, his diction and then his manly physique.. typical tall, not so dark and handsome guy but it really was his acting that got me to notice him.. unlike Shivangi who I liked first as a pretty face and then ok she can act too so that's good..

That was them individually.. then the scene where she falls in his arms, I was excited to see that together they have great chemistry even when they are simply standing and having a normal conversation..ok not normal lol bickering or throwing attitude at each other. And that chemistry just kept getting better and better .

I think they make a sizzling couple onscreen, physically a perfect match, height wise and everything and also performance wise coz if one didnt match the other in either of these two departments, their scenes would'v never worked this good.. because acting is give and take its a team work... And they both make a great team..

Sai deserves all the fan following and accolades..and so does Shivangi.. I think IF gets a a lil biased because of dominance of female members.. and their natural attraction towards the male lead barring exceptions ofcourse but like I always say, for me its the story first, then characters and then actors.. so Im here for the story without any bias for any actors/characters because I genuinely feel that they both are equally good and are doing the best in their respective roles whichever way its written..

I think there are more posts on sai cause in general there are more girls in the forum and many of them drool on him including me 😆

But yes Shivangi is really pretty and a very good actress. She is doing a fantastic job and both Sai and Shivangi really make a good pair onscreen.

I loved Shivangi's look today and im hoping after the marriage track she will have a better wardrobe and makeup that does justice to her beauty.

Great post 👍🏼. True that the physical appearance plays a major role for me as well whether to watch the show or not. Here by luck we have two good looking leads and when they are together they are lit...

SKR has become an eye candy now for all the gals 😉. But Shivangi is equally great, beautiful and a great great dancer. And its okay with me if she is not very active on SM--- her choice..
