Pallavi is disappointed and she expressed it to Jaya. So yes, he did matter, even a little. But, that door also is closed because of his actions. He needs to understand that he is wrong and no excuse can make up for his behavior. He needs to work on himself.

I know jispe beet ti hai wo janta hai..and I understand the reasons for his cold exterior, rudeness, even his general mistrust on women to some extent....but Pallavi is different and in his heart he knows that..yet he keeps hurting her with his words and actions..
I dont know in what sense he mattered to Pallavi..he has been so fickle with her.. one day he will save her, next day he will say get out..but yes she never expected him to stoop this low.. especially when she knows nothing about the MMS.. so in that sense maybe she felt cheated. But I dont want her to soften towards him when she comes to know about Keerthi's MMS because that is not a jistification for what he did.. If anything I want her to feel even more hurt and angry because he thought she could do such a thing. How many times in the past has she threatened him and how many times has she actually gone ahead with those threats?

@bold: Exactly. I don't get what kind of expectation he had from Pallavi. Why should he expect anything of her? Logic samajh aaya kisiko. Is this his twisted way of showing that she matters to him and he likes her. If so, what will happen when he understands his feelings?

Him blabbering about Pallavi's shop accounts to her baba is not "chugli" in his dictionary .😆 And that earth shattering revelation was actually no business of his.
But what she said to his amma involved her and was definitely her business.
Like him or hate him, he’s an enigma and I love watching RR on screen. He’s everything wrong with a man but in a funny way, it’s nice to watch this character maybe because I have high hopes from him, from his character progression. And Sai. He’s terrific with emotional scenes and from the first epi to now, he’s also more comfortable with longer dialogues. It does take a guy time to adjust with the kind of language required of him. When it comes to close ups, every muscle of his face is acting. And the eyes...I don’t want to start. I started watching just after watching a random YouTube video (out of the blue completely), where his eyes held so much depth, almost like an ocean in his eyes. A good actor makes a character, sometimes rises above it. Too early to say, but this guy is rising above the character and it’s a reason we cannot stop watching him. For once, like you said, TV is revolving it’s story around a broken man. Not just a broken woman.
Like SRK in Darr or Anjaam. He was bad, but it was a different experience altogether to watch him laugh and die!

He isn't showing anything, his only expectation was that she was different from other girls. Honest, sincere, self-respecting, principled... at some point, he had started to think highly of her. His enmity and their challenge... it wasn't serious to him anymore, just a game in which he got to rile her up and enjoy her angry bird reactions 😆 And now he's disappointed that even this girl isn't a good person like he thought, he feels let down What he doesn't understand is that she's still the same woman, it's his bias making him seeing her in a bad light

So Pallavi has to put up with his assholery, and she does not even get the choice to say 'No' to the 'Love' of the Raghav Rao, kyunki baat uski ziddh ko hoti hai hamesha. Poor Pallavi.
