That almost smile that Shiva had (that many of us noticed) when he threw the dupatta could either mean A)nothing at all!! or B) relief.

Relief because if you pay attention to the way he's looking at her when she says she's no longer thinking about suicide,it looked like he was having a hard time controlling his emotions.
