Yes I think so. Everytime Shiva cries in the original atleast in the beginning it is a revelation for all the other including GauRa and Dev. And his drunk monologue in front of Raavi is just beautiful.

Hoping for something like that.

With everyone talking and hyping up this breakdown scene I'm so excited, mainly because Kanwar is PHENOMENAL actor and I can't wait to see him do justice to that scene

I am glad that there will be character growth for raavi too after Shiva's breakdown...it's all beautifully written...if u ask me except Janardhan no one is as such negative in the serial and every other character is very human and their growth is beautiful to watch... Raavi becoming softer for shiva later on will be really good to watch...

Lol, I don't want to spoil too much, but yes, he drinks in the original (despite never drinking in the past) due to encouragement from the person he's with. They've technically left Gujarat, so I think it's possible to show a drunk Shiva...

As for the other drunk confession... that's the confession that sucked me in Pandian Stores for good! What a beautiful scene!
