I agree that for a don like him, extremely protective of his family, what he did seemed tamer than what he could have done. Pallavi is understanding by nature and the kind of person to forgive her family for just about anything, which was evident by how she treated Sulo Kaku and Amrutha even after knowing about their deceit. If she does fall for Raghav and consider him family, she'll simply forgive and forget (especially since this is ITV) . Farhad was especially brilliant today. About Sulo Kaku and Amrutha the less said the better, but the entire cast made the episode watchable with their brilliant acting. I'm waiting for tomorrow's episode and the track that follows.

I must say this is one of the most brilliant analyses I've read on India Forums. Wonderfully written.

Thanks for the heavy praise dear, you're embarrassing me now! We have some amazing writers on this forum so I'm honored you liked this. 🤗

One thing we tend to forget is that we want characters to behave in a certain way in a specific situation but the characters have minds of their own and if written well, will need to make their own journey. It may not align with our points of reference but that's the beauty of such characters, the fact that you love them regardless.

I am very different from Pallavi and am rooting for her to stand up and fight, but if she chooses a different path, I have to go along with it. All I want is for the characters' actions to be justified. They've done a much better job of that with Raghav than with Pallavi, but it's also easier because as a don/grayish character they have much more room to play with the character than they do with hers. FLs are always boxed into these pre-set frames that they can rarely get out of, except the Maya types.

Won't talk about raghvi much as already you have summed up them quite well and other members have already talked about it at length. ShaShi were fab today👏 So was Himanshu👏❤️

I specifically loved how you described farag moment and farhad❤️(yes for me the is the most important thing😆)I'm dying to know their backstory mannnn! What exactly has raghav done to earn this undying and unwavering loyalty and support of Farhad ❤️ He was there for his anna even when he didn't agree to his anna's ways.He knew he can't stop his anna so he used the most powerful weapon to a believer, calling out to his Allah to help protect the innocent pallu from his anna's wrath .

Loved how he was unable to meet her eyes and went away without witnessing the tamasha his anna was doing. I may sound insensitive for comparing two complete different scenario of two different magnitude but he was unable to meet her eyes for something his anna was doing to her which he knew was wrong and then there's pallu who always looked into his eyes, never bothered to say sorry after her sanki rambo slapped him in front of everyone which she knew was wrong. Why is this guy like this??❤️

Anyways I'm hoping against hope that pallu will be back to her original form now and give raghav back everything 2x more like she had said in the earlier epi😆

P.s-Where can I get a farhad for myself????😭❤️

Thank you dear, glad you were engaged despite the length of the post. 😃

I also want to know their back story, especially since Farhad said in the other episode that he had known Raghav since childhood. I was a bit surprised because in an earlier episode he said he knew Raghav since they came to Hyderabad. Hopefully we will get this one day as part of the unraveling of his past.

Pallavi probably doesn't even remember that he was slapped. Hopefully once she moves to RR mansion, Farhad and she will talk more often, and develop a friendship. The fact that she looked at him briefly when he came with the envelope tells me she knows he's more reasonable than his Anna, but it was also a question of: didn't you say your boss wasn't a bad guy? what's he doing now and why are you here with him?

There are many good guys like Farhad. Do like he does, raise your hands and ask uparwaala to find you one.

Yes, he should have investigated the matter more, he should have dug deeper but he had thought this matter alot and he had that doubt about Pallavi. However I think when you weigh all those words and warnings and promises she has made, his mistrust on women won. This is going to happen in many such situations.

He know that she could do anything for her family, even Krishna's words about Pallavi becoming someone who doesn't take shit from anyone sealed that. So he went to get the justice his sister deserve. Keerthi doesn't have any fault in this but she suffered, she was tormented because of the photos so Raghav is returning what his sister had to go through.

Was Raghav really wrong for doing that, if sulochana was in the place of Pallavi?

I'm pretty sure people would slaped his back in appreciation. So keeping aside all those things, he avenged for his sister in Raghav Rao style.

Yes, I have said this in one of the posts here, Pallavi really tries too hard to be the son they lost. She is living to be approved of that. And somewhere I feel that she wants her in laws to not to regret making her stay with them after her husband died.

Most probably that has become her dream as well. I remember in one of the episodes she telling that Mandar had promised her that he would get her enrolled to get a bussinss degree, so I think she wants to do bussinss but during the last two years she has taken charge of the DSE, she has tried her best to bring it back to the right path though she failed. So I think DSE had became her dream as well.

As much as I understand why she is hiding so many things about the shop atleast tell someone about it, if not to baba then to Kaka or to Nikil or to Mansi. She has lots of options but she has this thought inside her mind that, her baba consider her as his son and she can't disappoint him. It's a bussinss, lose and profit are integral part of it and it's not necessary that your business only see profit. If it's in lose, everyone work to make it in profit. Not that you hide that from everyone.

Raghav was so careful of how he looked, he needed that confidence his aura brings him naturally. And Farhad not helping him with his coat also, he really didn't want to prepare his Anna for the doom and for what he was going to do with Pallavi.

I really appreciate the CVS for adding that scene here. He was getting ready to not only destroy her but also him. And I loved how they executed that. That man was the real Raghav Rao, the Don of Hyderabad.

Ps: I haven't watched the episode yet, just gone through the highlights and what I assume is this episode is going to be my favorite. I'm a sadist.😆

And you have done a great job, analyzing the whole episode now I'm most excited to watch it.

Once I watch I may add one more post here.😳

Thanks a lot for this, and I'm looking forward to your post after you're done watching the episode. 😃

You raised some great points here.

1. Raghav not investigating the matter fully. I think he saw red because of his mother and sister but also because he's hurt by her supposed betrayal. He was quick to jump to conclusions. In the abortion track he did it more for her, his emotions were less involved, whereas in this track he's obsessed with punishing the offender as fast as possible and is laser-focused on Pallavi. We will find out one day why he mistrusts women so much and what exactly that girl did to him many years ago. For now, he just classifies most if not all women aside from his family as potential cheaters.

2. What would the audience reaction have been if he'd done this to BWA? That's a great question because I am pretty sure 99.9% of them would have been applauding his actions. So, is the issue that we don't like the kind of punishment or the person to whom it is being done? Because if it's the former, then we cannot be happy if he does the same to BWA. If it's the latter, then in his defense he doesn't know Pallavi is innocent the way we do. He actually believes she is indeed guilty and in that regard what he did is not as harsh as it could have been. So there you go, we have some sort of gray areas among us too as the audience.

3. Regarding her dream, since the sangeet I wonder if she would have like to be a professional dancer because she's great at it. I don't think the Deshmukhs would approve of it, but if she marries into the Rao family she would fit right in. They all have an arts background as we saw in flashbacks and even Raghav is a very creative person. Once she goes there, she will no longer feel the burden of having to be the Deshmukhs' son. They already have Nikhil, why overly depend on her? If the family is a joint one, so should their responsibilities be.

4. Sharda mentioned this explicitly that she was aware Pallavi didn't tell them everything. But I agree, she can at least tell the young ones like Nikhil, Mansi, and even Milind. No need to be superwoman all the time to shield everyone else. They aren't kids. Nikhil, especially, has always stood by her and has proven to be trustworthy.

5. Yes, that scene of him dressing up was very important. Sai did a fantastic job of showing us what frame of mind Raghav Rao was in, without uttering a single word. His body language did the talking, even in response to Farhad's pleas.

I'm more looking forward to tomorrow's episode, when they throw Pallu out. I both want it to happen and sad into see it happen.

No real family would throw a woman out onto the streets late at night! It makes me sick to think they can even show this on TV.

I would've preferred if VD and aayi just gave her the cold shoulder at home instead of throwing her out. I would prefer if they personally went to Amma to complain/discuss next steps about her son, which led to a rishta talk between the two. This would have been more interesting approach out of which Amma could have bribed RR that she will stay with him if he accepts the marriage. This track would have been more relatable?

@bold Yeah, so much for his usool and sanskaar. Where are they when you need them most? On top of that, he didn't just send her out, he threw her on the ground. That too when they are at someone else's house! Where is she supposed to go?

After the argument between Rambo and Jaya during the sangeet, I thought it would open the door for them to have another argument about what Raghav did today so that Jaya can then tell her son to marry Pallavi. It would indeed make much more sense because those two would have no choice but to commit.

First off, you have penned down every single thing I have felt during the episode! When Raghav was getting ready today, uff I got the chills. He looked so cold, ruthless... he was out to get his prey. His entire body language radiated that aura (Sai just keeps getting better and better! ❤️) Loved how you saw the descent metaphorically, it reminded me of Joker (dunno if you've watched it)... he was having a hard time climbing up the stairs in the beginning of the film and it was a gloomy weather, but by the end, he was descending them and he had a bounce in his step and the weather was all sunny, it showed how he was having struggling to stay sane but when his insanity gripped him, everything got easier and happier. Anyway, I digress. Farhad and his prayer touched my heart again today ❤️ Himanshu is really doing an amazing job, putting little nuances to Farhad 👏 When he couldn't meet Pallu's eyes and walked away, the camera wasn't even focused on him but he totally made that scene his own... Bravo boy 👏

Welcome to the 'hard school' of life, Pallavi, where some lessons make us or break us. In your case, I hope they will first break you and then make you rise from the ashes to soar in the sky one day. As a woman, it is going to hurt watching you lose your joie de vivre and innocence about life, but at the same time I am also hopeful that you will find your true self during this journey.

I loved these lines ❤️ this is exactly how I feel about her arc.

Tbh I was conflicted today on whether to fast forward or not. On one hand I wanted to get to the main action fast, on the other hand I wanted to avoid it as long as possible. I finally decided to linger and watch it all, and that made it all the more difficult bcz this girl keeps showing more and more just how much this family matters to her 💔 Every time I can't relate to her Dfam attachment, I remember she's an orphan who has experienced a family for the first time. I immediately understand why she works so hard for the shop, why she has made their dreams her own, why her baba's love and appreciation matters so much to her. I understand it all, and my heart breaks for her 😭 She was so emotional about the shop ownership today... Being able to fulfil baba's dream, she thought she finally became the perfect "beti" for them 🥺 It was heartbreaking to know that it was all about to destroyed for her in seconds 🥺

When Raghav entered, the air was just ominous. I'm so glad they didn't use his normal bgm and went for a different one... I love that bgm too much for it to be used in this situation. But seriously, the way he focused only on Pallavi, I got goosebumps! He really feels let down by her somehow, which is adding to his viciousness. It was so clear in the way he threw that commitment line at her... "Kuch rishte commitment ke bina hi acche hote hai"... with that taunting expression in his eyes, it was like he was really talking about their own rishta which had formed, one of care and understanding... a strange rishta but one that was meaningful to him. And one she wasn't committed to. I wonder if the makers even thought of it this way or if it's simply Sai and his brilliant nuances at play here! 👏 The guy is simply excellent ❤️

When I read the updates in the forum today, I thought he was gonna call her this and that. But he didn't go that way at all, he didn't start insulting her or disgracing her character, on the contrary he claimed to love her and was betrayed by her scorning him. That little laugh before he completely turned the tables on her, oh this guy knows to hunt his prey alright. In a second, SHE became the scheming woman! SHE was the one avoiding commitment with him, not making their relationship public, fighting with him in front of family so they don't suspect a thing... and now that she has got the shop from him, she doesn't wanna see his face again. What a gold-digger! He was like, "I thought you liked me, I gave you the shop and came here to support you in this special moment with your family, and this is how you treat me now? So all this while, you were only in it for the money, huh? Here, if that's all you wanted, take it!" I honestly wasn't repulsed by the money throwing as much as I'd expected to be... he made out the entire situation to be like that! Like she'd been taking advantage of him the entire time. I love that he mentioned feelings... he never made it about just getting physical, he was implying an actual relationship between them (of which physical intimacy is a part) in which he got betrayed. Only in his last "19-20 nights" comment did he degrade it to be just a physical one, and that was when he was playing the jilted lover role. Oh Pallu, I don't blame you for being dumbstruck today, I was in the same boat. Raghav Rao, what a devious man you are!

But Pallavi, my girl... I feel like sending out a dua for her too 🥺 This is gonna hit her so hard, I can't 😭 Someone please make things better for her... the girl doesn't deserve this 😭 I can't even summon up my usual happiness at the thought of her leaving that house, I'm so sad for her.

Right now, there are only 2 things I wish to see. One, Pallavi emerging STRONG and giving it back to Raghav Rao, 10 times worse. Second, Raghav Rao's suffering. Pallu se to hard time milna hi hai use, but I really really want him to be judged and looked down upon by Farhad... I. Want. This. Guy. To. Suffer. That's it 😈

So true what you said about the dialogue... Baba's double standards and low mentality on full display currently, via Raghav's dialogues. And yes, with this stunt, RR did manage to destroy Pallavi and strip the Deshmukhs of their identity, all in a single blow.

He will go home after this, supposedly to celebrate his victory and to find some mental peace after completing his mission, but he will not be able to.

Go read my OS, this is exactly what it's about 😛 I didn't even watch the epi before writing it, but it definitely fits the situation.

Love the last 3 paragraphs you wrote. We will all judge Raghav with our own weighing scales, but ultimately it's Pallavi who has to decide. Things like this are so extreme, a person can go either way with their reaction and you'll support them anyway. It's their life, their choice. To forgive or not to forgive is upto them. But for now, I just wanna see her make Raghav suffer 😈 I haven't seen Humsafar, but you have made me curious about it..

Amazing post! 👏 Thanks for tagging me, I'm honoured ❤️🤗

Thank you for the detailed response, I loved reading through it. 🤗

Raghav was indeed cold and ruthless and I felt as if both the character and the writer wanted to remind us that despite the gentle and charming moments, he is a don and that's what dons tend to be like. You don't just climb the ladder of success at such a young age so easily. I watched Joker and I know what you mean. Raghav was almost a madman today in his own way, and even Farhad knew his pleas would fall on deaf ears. Agree, Himanshu is also improving and I hope the PH realizes we love seeing him on screen as Farhad with or without Raghav, but especially with Raghav. Yeah, I also noticed that his back was to the camera as he walked away but the effect was still felt. Great body language there.

Even though many of us don't want to watch the Deshmukh family scenes, the fact is that they are her reality, her daily life. Today's scene was especially to reemphasize what Siddesh was saying, that she does so much for them and that the love, trust, and efforts are not balanced out on both side. After all this, I want Pallavi to not just think about their mistreatment of her but also wonder why she would trust them with her problems. Sometimes I feel that deep down she does know their nature but chooses to look the other way, either because she always tries to see the good in people, or because she feels a debt of gratitude to them for keeping her in their home as their daughter.

The background music they used for his entry was the same one they used when he was beating up the goons who insulted Keerti. I think it was deliberate, to show that he was in punisher mode.

It's true, the more I think about it, the more I feel he was disappointed in her and in himself for trusting her and caring for her somehow. There was bit of bitterness in his words, especially when referring to nameless relationships. I also wonder if he was thinking about the times he helped her or she took favors from him and now felt she had been playing nice to get him to do her bidding, that what he had seen all along was just a facade. I do suspect it's Sai who add those nuances but it's a collaborative effort after all. He never fails to impress me. This was a very important scene and a turning point in the show. A little miss here or there would have reduced the impact, but no he really played to the gallery and did it with finesse.

I also think his mention of feelings was important, especially since they showed Sharda in side profile. She may actually have her 'aha' moment that he was the type of husband she had been trying to find for Pallavi and had been under her nose all this time. I am still hoping Jaya and she will arrange the marriage... I know, I know, I'm being too optimistic here. 😆

I want to see Pallavi becoming strong, either after a leap or through introspection where she really revisits her priorities.

Haven't had time to read your OS, but I will do it soon as possible. Thanks for the heads up.

If you haven't seen Humsafar, do watch it. You can find all the episodes on Youtube. I am sure you will love, but brace yourself for some angst and tears.

Once again, thanks for the detailed post, dear. I love reading what you write on this forum because you always bring a different perspective. Looking forward to more. 🤗

I don't think I have anything more to add to what you've written, just that I loved how you touched upon the burning question of "did Raghav cross the line?" I agree that it's a question of whether Pallavi can forget than her being able to forgive him. Now that you mentioned Humsafar, I realised that I was far more upset at Ashar not trusting Khirad than Raghav not trusting Pallavi. Maybe because the former were already married and in love, and it reflected poorly on Ashar's part to not trust her. On the other hand, I was dreading Raghav to do something worse, which lessened the impact of whatever he did today.

I loved your analysis of what would become of this troubled couple in future with such deep wounds scarring their relationship (all that angst ). But I doubt that's how the story is going to play out on screen. We spend hours theorising and writing think pieces on characters only for the CVs to butcher them in the drop of hat. We don't have consistent writing on TV, so I have little hope about characters staying true to the storyline. I don't expect nuance in ITV characters (exceptions- Gulaal and first half of NBTNMKK), but if played right, RaghVi can be stellar story of angst, love and yearning

Thanks so much, I really appreciate this. 😃

So sorry, if I spoiled that scene, but don't worry, there will be more and the effects of today will soften over time.

Forgive and forget - we're told this a lot but it's easier said than done. It often comes down to whether the love is strong enough to diminish the pain or to help you focus on a beautiful future. Time will tell where they take this story but I agree that we shouldn't get our hopes up. Very few shows on ITV have done that and they don't tend to be on this channel. 😉

What Raghav did today cannot be pardoned easily, in general. His intentions were right but the target was wrong. However, they need to push the story forward and this is to be the hook for the next major track. One thing I didn't stress enough was that when Raghav realizes she was innocent all along, the blow to his feelings would be immense but more than that, as a person who believes in justice, this will have shaken his notions of being principled about such things. This is the same person who took the blame upon himself to ensure Pallavi wasn't wrongly jailed for the gunpowder incident.

The guy really needs to control both his drinking and his temper, because it seems to be clouding his judgement. I am still a bit greedy and will take whatever angst we can get in between the typical ITV drama. 😆
