Good analysis of a good epi. It was what we all were expecting so nothing too much of a shocker.

I'm more looking forward to tomorrow's episode, when they throw Pallu out. I both want it to happen and sad into see it happen.

No real family would throw a woman out onto the streets late at night! It makes me sick to think they can even show this on TV.

I would've preferred if VD and aayi just gave her the cold shoulder at home instead of throwing her out. I would prefer if they personally went to Amma to complain/discuss next steps about her son, which led to a rishta talk between the two. This would have been more interesting approach out of which Amma could have bribed RR that she will stay with him if he accepts the marriage. This track would have been more relatable?

Oh this is so so good ❤️❤️ Since you have treated me to such a long post, you shall have a long reply too... Brace yourself!

First off, you have penned down every single thing I have felt during the episode! When Raghav was getting ready today, uff I got the chills. He looked so cold, ruthless... he was out to get his prey. His entire body language radiated that aura (Sai just keeps getting better and better! ❤️) Loved how you saw the descent metaphorically, it reminded me of Joker (dunno if you've watched it)... he was having a hard time climbing up the stairs in the beginning of the film and it was a gloomy weather, but by the end, he was descending them and he had a bounce in his step and the weather was all sunny, it showed how he was having struggling to stay sane but when his insanity gripped him, everything got easier and happier. Anyway, I digress. Farhad and his prayer touched my heart again today ❤️ Himanshu is really doing an amazing job, putting little nuances to Farhad 👏 When he couldn't meet Pallu's eyes and walked away, the camera wasn't even focused on him but he totally made that scene his own... Bravo boy 👏

Welcome to the 'hard school' of life, Pallavi, where some lessons make us or break us. In your case, I hope they will first break you and then make you rise from the ashes to soar in the sky one day. As a woman, it is going to hurt watching you lose your joie de vivre and innocence about life, but at the same time I am also hopeful that you will find your true self during this journey.

I loved these lines ❤️ this is exactly how I feel about her arc.

Tbh I was conflicted today on whether to fast forward or not. On one hand I wanted to get to the main action fast, on the other hand I wanted to avoid it as long as possible. I finally decided to linger and watch it all, and that made it all the more difficult bcz this girl keeps showing more and more just how much this family matters to her 💔 Every time I can't relate to her Dfam attachment, I remember she's an orphan who has experienced a family for the first time. I immediately understand why she works so hard for the shop, why she has made their dreams her own, why her baba's love and appreciation matters so much to her. I understand it all, and my heart breaks for her 😭 She was so emotional about the shop ownership today... Being able to fulfil baba's dream, she thought she finally became the perfect "beti" for them 🥺 It was heartbreaking to know that it was all about to destroyed for her in seconds 🥺

When Raghav entered, the air was just ominous. I'm so glad they didn't use his normal bgm and went for a different one... I love that bgm too much for it to be used in this situation. But seriously, the way he focused only on Pallavi, I got goosebumps! He really feels let down by her somehow, which is adding to his viciousness. It was so clear in the way he threw that commitment line at her... "Kuch rishte commitment ke bina hi acche hote hai"... with that taunting expression in his eyes, it was like he was really talking about their own rishta which had formed, one of care and understanding... a strange rishta but one that was meaningful to him. And one she wasn't committed to. I wonder if the makers even thought of it this way or if it's simply Sai and his brilliant nuances at play here! 👏 The guy is simply excellent ❤️

When I read the updates in the forum today, I thought he was gonna call her this and that. But he didn't go that way at all, he didn't start insulting her or disgracing her character, on the contrary he claimed to love her and was betrayed by her scorning him. That little laugh before he completely turned the tables on her, oh this guy knows to hunt his prey alright. In a second, SHE became the scheming woman! SHE was the one avoiding commitment with him, not making their relationship public, fighting with him in front of family so they don't suspect a thing... and now that she has got the shop from him, she doesn't wanna see his face again. What a gold-digger! He was like, "I thought you liked me, I gave you the shop and came here to support you in this special moment with your family, and this is how you treat me now? So all this while, you were only in it for the money, huh? Here, if that's all you wanted, take it!" I honestly wasn't repulsed by the money throwing as much as I'd expected to be... he made out the entire situation to be like that! Like she'd been taking advantage of him the entire time. I love that he mentioned feelings... he never made it about just getting physical, he was implying an actual relationship between them (of which physical intimacy is a part) in which he got betrayed. Only in his last "19-20 nights" comment did he degrade it to be just a physical one, and that was when he was playing the jilted lover role. Oh Pallu, I don't blame you for being dumbstruck today, I was in the same boat. Raghav Rao, what a devious man you are!

But Pallavi, my girl... I feel like sending out a dua for her too 🥺 This is gonna hit her so hard, I can't 😭 Someone please make things better for her... the girl doesn't deserve this 😭 I can't even summon up my usual happiness at the thought of her leaving that house, I'm so sad for her.

Right now, there are only 2 things I wish to see. One, Pallavi emerging STRONG and giving it back to Raghav Rao, 10 times worse. Second, Raghav Rao's suffering. Pallu se to hard time milna hi hai use, but I really really want him to be judged and looked down upon by Farhad... I. Want. This. Guy. To. Suffer. That's it 😈

So true what you said about the dialogue... Baba's double standards and low mentality on full display currently, via Raghav's dialogues. And yes, with this stunt, RR did manage to destroy Pallavi and strip the Deshmukhs of their identity, all in a single blow.

He will go home after this, supposedly to celebrate his victory and to find some mental peace after completing his mission, but he will not be able to.

Go read my OS, this is exactly what it's about 😛 I didn't even watch the epi before writing it, but it definitely fits the situation.

Love the last 3 paragraphs you wrote. We will all judge Raghav with our own weighing scales, but ultimately it's Pallavi who has to decide. Things like this are so extreme, a person can go either way with their reaction and you'll support them anyway. It's their life, their choice. To forgive or not to forgive is upto them. But for now, I just wanna see her make Raghav suffer 😈 I haven't seen Humsafar, but you have made me curious about it..

Amazing post! 👏 Thanks for tagging me, I'm honoured ❤️🤗

This is a brilliant, well-written analysis of the episode. You've wonderfully interpreted every shot and dialogue and even spoiled something for me (I'll never be able to fondly remember Raghav's reaction to their hands touching in her room) 😆

I don't think I have anything more to add to what you've written, just that I loved how you touched upon the burning question of "did Raghav cross the line?" I agree that it's a question of whether Pallavi can forget than her being able to forgive him. Now that you mentioned Humsafar, I realised that I was far more upset at Ashar not trusting Khirad than Raghav not trusting Pallavi. Maybe because the former were already married and in love, and it reflected poorly on Ashar's part to not trust her. On the other hand, I was dreading Raghav to do something worse, which lessened the impact of whatever he did today.

I loved your analysis of what would become of this troubled couple in future with such deep wounds scarring their relationship (all that angst ). But I doubt that's how the story is going to play out on screen. We spend hours theorising and writing think pieces on characters only for the CVs to butcher them in the drop of hat. We don't have consistent writing on TV, so I have little hope about characters staying true to the storyline. I don't expect nuance in ITV characters (exceptions- Gulaal and first half of NBTNMKK), but if played right, RaghVi can be stellar story of angst, love and yearning

If only I had the same skill to analyse like you two 😭 Kya lekha hai yaar👏

I want the exact same thing. Raghav rao needs to suffer badly before he gets her forgiveness let alone love😈 his fam needs to judge him and cut him off emotionally and that includes harish and reddy too! I want each and every member /staff of Raghav's to cut him off emotionally.

Thank you for tagging me on your post! 🤗

Thank you for a thoughtful and apt analysis that covers all the aspects of today's episode 👏

I truly have nothing else to say that can truly add to this post, because I am just beyond disgusted at the lack of reaction from the D-family when Raghav was spewing venom against Pallavi. Raghav did not do worse and cross a line, accepted; Pallavi is naive AF accepted; but I am truly still reeling from what I have seen and have an urge to throw stones at the D-fam especially Sulu and VD now 🤔

The episode made me really uncomfortable as well, even though I loved everyone's performance. SKR, Shivangi, Himanshu, everyone was just at their best. The expressions and body language everything was just 👏 There is nothing I can add more to your words😳

Farhad was really the silent start of the show. Today I actually became Farhad while watching. Previously I did support Raghav but today I just kind of lowered my eyes on him, just as Frahad did, and it was equally painful to watch Pallavi in that state. (But koi na, it's just a TV show)

I have watched Humsafar as well and I agree that it will be really difficult for them the reconnect even after the differences are sorted out, especially where Pallavi is concerned. In Humsafar, it was the evil MIL who maligned the FL character, and here it was the "Hero" himself. The only difference there was that the ML and FL were actually in love already, so the fact that Ashar did not trust Khirad was even heavier on the scale I feel. I am soo happy that Raghav and Pallavi did not have such a bond yet, otherwise, the damage would be really difficult to recover.

Thank you dear. Glad you liked it.

Agree, everyone performed well. For some reason the editing style has changed with the zooms, flashing in an out like old Ekta shows. Really annoyed me because scenes felt choppy and I couldn't always make out people's facial expressions.

I love what you said about becoming Farhad and lowering your gaze. I kind of felt the same and I really hope that he is the one to act as the catalyst for the marriage by telling Amma or Keerti what happened.

Regarding Humsafar, yes absolutely it was far worse because they were in love and married so Khirad's heartbreak was much much was as was Ashar's realization that the damage could not be undone. His loathing of himself was spot on and believable. He didn't let his ego get in the way or think that all his offenses were pardonable, he was realistic... Sigh... If this show had been on Sony things would have been different.

Sorry, if people see this post in other places as well. Here are my thoughts on today's episode. I believe we'll have many posts today as we can already see it happening. Everyone's gone through an emotional upheaval in today's episode

Few things that I liked about today's episode -

1) Acting skills of everybody - Top Notch. - the way when camera panned to Sulochana, Amrutha & Mansi in 1 frame & the different expressions on each face. Wow!

You correctly mentioned about Himanshu's acting as well👏

2) Liked how Sandiip kind of gave a transition to the new house with Gorintaku's JanakAmma (Sharda's counterpart), I don't think any other serials kind of gave

an ode though most are working on exact similar lines from their Original ones. Here toh, atleast there's major plot shift.

3) I liked the dialogues😲. Raghav never said anything degrading in a direct way. He kept on going about how Pallavi & He like each other & she was afraid of commitment. And then when she again said 'Tumhe aisa barbaad karungi' He went crazy. The only part I hated was Raghav throwing money on her & mentioning 19-20 days of nights together which he had to use warna Character par daag kaise lagtasmiley29. If he had put the notes in her hand, it could have just been like a gift so he did the above 😵.

4) That crazy devious smile/laughter Raghav smiley39had when he behaved as if now he understood what Pallavi is doing to him, her lover, infront of her family. And then he turns into a Jilted Lover that Wow! You'll never show your true feelings about me na, or Maybe you didn't have feelings. Cool! It was about money then. Okay, I will give you money.

Waiting for tomorrow's episode like crazy now. Sai Ketan's brilliant Acting skills, Dialogue deliverysmiley32. I can't wait to view the complete scene tomorrow & be more heartbroken💔

But for the sake of our show, I hope makers are able to justify all this soon. The drop to 0.9 in TRP will cause issues & I do not want our brilliant newcomers who're so so prolific at what they do (How else can we write & discuss so much about their characters at length) to suffer. They should not & we should not suffer 🥺. There's so much potential in the show with all the redemptions & growth the characters'll go through & I want to be able to witness it .

Thank you dear.

1. Yes, absolutely, though as I mentioned in the post above, something was off about the editing. I hope they fix it soon.

2. I like that too, nice touch. Now let's see what excuse they have for RR mansion.

3. I think many people feel the same way about the dialogues. They were calculated for maximum impact. It's Raghav Rao after all. Anything he says will be meaningful. I wish they would do the same for other characters too.

4. He acted so well as the supposedly jilted lover, turning the ables on her in a way that she was flabbergasted. I do think Ayi picked on the we like each other part and may very well have picked on the chemistry between them. I am still hoping that Jaya and she together arrange this marriage.

Sai was just fabulous as usual. His dialogue delivery is fantastic but he talks with his eyes too for greater impact. Love seeing his growth!

Yes, there's a lot of potential on the show and if everyone keeps the writing crisp, the audience will follow along, no doubt.

Finally someone who got the POV and understood Raghav like I did.

He definitely toned down his revenge statistics but still managed to punish her n ruin her.

Yeah, it will be Pallavi's choice to forgive him or punish him. As per character , I feel she will forgive him once he is dear to her.

She is a person who would forgive anything of her family. But I still want her to gain her strength n fight full on with Raghav for what he did to her.

She has to shine infront of him n the family who threw her out.

Beautiful analysis !!!👍🏼

Hey Chris. I'm humbled that you were looking forward to my post. I always love reading your episode takes. Unfortunately, I don't have your skill of keeping things crisp and short, hence my rambling. 🤔

Now that I've had a few hours to think about the episode, I realize I don't really care what she does with Raghav... It's the Deshmukhs who are unpardonable for being mute spectators whenever Pallavi is in trouble, especially her Ayi Baba. At least he stepped forward today but Ayi said nothing. Kab ankhein khologi Pallavi???

Raghav is so sharp, he knew from the time Rambo visited him that there were trust issues, he saw a repeat of that during the abortion fiasco, and then he used it to his advantage, and how?

I would love some depth to her character like what makes her tick, what gives her happiness , her past with her family etc so far it’s only one dimension as the bahu we’ve seen her. Probably Raghav’s harkatein will drive her to find herself. Raghav , yes I want him to suffer once he gets to know the truth. Maybe when Mandhaar returns she will go off with him cos technically the first marriage is legal and hers with Raghav wouldn’t hold . By that time Raghav should be in love and should suffer . Ph I’d love to see the angst. Sai will kill it for sure. I know the guy who comes back as mandaar will be a phony (according to the original) but yeah Raghav should think he is the real guy. ( I’m sure he won’t stand by and watch Pallavi waltz out) we’ll get fabulous scenes for sure. Regarding pAllavi having scars of this for a life time sure it may be so but I’m a hopeless optimist in the power of love covering a multitude of sins and faults and the healing power of time and care to cover those scars with the beautiful portrait of love. We are already living in times where things seem hopeless and precious things like love , care, patience and long suffering are trampled to the ground so I don’t want this show to go the melancholic depressing way as well. The only way for Raghvi now is forward and upward. Both will be each others’ wind beneath their wings. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Honestly, after watching the episode I was not up to writing and analysis but your DM encouraged me. 🤗

You are right, we see Pallavi in a superficial way, not enough flashbacks, monologues, etc. showing her depth of character. Only once did we see her look at her box of old things related to Mandaar, but nothing beyond that. I don't know if it's deliberately done to show us that Pallavi doesn't analyze things enough and needs to grow. Sometimes I feel there are two different writers for the FL and ML.

Without angst on both sides the story will be lackluster and I hope the writers think through these things enough. I understand TRP and drama are important but they can work towards weaving in a decent storyline too.

I know the not-so-happy ending I mentioned is a pipe dream on ITV. We are most likely going to get what you mentioned. It's good to be optimistic, especially in the crazy times we're living in, as long as things don't get regressive where the FL (or the ML) just becomes a doormat. I can't bear seeing this show head in that direction.

Raghav was able to achieve his goal coz her family has the faults in themselves.

I so want Pallavi to stand up for herself against the family.

Hope she sees their hypocrisy !! This kind of blind love on family can be toxic to her!!

I enjoy ur insights a lot. U have indepth perception of things which I enjoy.

Looking forward to more of ur insights in future too
