Chapter-3
Shaurya entered the ground wearing his knee pads and gloves with a bat in his hand, as once again the wickets were going down on a very high speed and SRH needed him! He looked up in the audience area to find the love of his life, Anokhi, sitting and cheering up for him, wearing an SRH jersey.
He smiled at her and went to Ahir who was once again clueless about the situation!
"Is baar toh match KKR ke saath hai but then fir bhi! " Ahir said in a disappointed tone.
"It's ok we will manage!" Shaurya said with a smirk.
Shaurya was on strike and as if he had some super power, he started beating all the bowlers with 6s and 4s.
He completed his own century with an SRH win!
"omg aaj captain cool was like bahubali." Ahir complimented Shaurya giving some dramatic expressions.
Shaurya royally ignored Ahir and threw a flying kiss at Anokhi who was sitting in audience.
Suddenly he heard some alarm tune and stirred awake realising it was just a dream..
He looked at the watch and it was 8.
"Yeh sab Ahir ki company ka asar hai. Kaise ajeeb ajeeb sapne aane lage hai mujhe." Shaurya muttered and kept cursing Ahir.
He then dialled Ahir's number and after few rings Ahir picked.
"hmm" Shaurya heard from the other end completely knowing the fact that Ahir was still sleeping on his bed.
"Ahir beta uth ja! 8 baj chuke hai aur hame woh add shoot ke liye bhi toh jana hai." Shaurya told him him to which Ahir groaned.
"Mujhe nhi jana! Captain tum ho toh tum jao na." Ahir replied with sleepy voice.
"Accha but maine suna hai ki waha ek bollywood actress bhi aari hai kya naam tha uska... Haa shraddha kapoor.." Shaurya told getting Ahir's interest all of a sudden.
"Sacchi?"Ahir shouted as he sat straight with a jolt.
" Nhi mazaak tha tujhe uthane ke liye! Chal ab jaldi se ready ho ja hame jana hai add shoot ke liye! " Shaurya said smirking.
"bro thats cheating!" Ahir cribbed.
"Jo samajhna hai samajhle! But ready ho fata fat!" Shaurya told him.
And then he smiled at the kiddo Ahir and got himself ready as well!
After an hour they both met in the corridor! Ahir was wearing a blue denim shirt and jeans and Shaurya simply wore a white check shirt blue jeans!
"All set?" Ahir chirped.
"Haan ab chal! Waise i was not interested in the add shoot because mujhe CSK wala match dekhna tha! Hamari team ke kuch log gaye hai waha." Shaurya explained as he was least interested in the add shoot.
"Wahi na jo aaj Muhali mei hone wala hai Kings11 Punjab ke saath? " Ahir asked to confirm.
"Haan! " He heard Shaurya say.
"Chill bro sab jante hai CSK hi jitegi! " Ahir said as a matter of fact.
"Woh toh mujhe bhi pata hai idiot but match tricks dekhne ke liye jana tha! Mahi sir kaise perform karenge and all that." Shaurya explained.
"Teri baatein na kabhi kabhi mere sar ke upar se jaati hai." Ahir said shaking his head and making a dramatic face.
"Very funny! " Shaurya mocked him.
And Ahir laughed while they entered in the lift!
On reaching the ground floor Ahir excused himself for a bit as he got an important call while Shaurya spotted Virat so approached him.
"Shaurya you are also in the add shoot, right?" Virat asked smiling at him.
"haa mai aur Ahir dono hai!" Shaurya replied with a fake smile.
"Aisa karte hai pehle breakfast karte hai then sab saath mei chalenge." Virat told to which he nodded in approval.
Both smiled and then all of a sudden Anokhi came to the picture.
"OMG VIRAT!! " She shouted to which Virat smiled and Shaurya resisted the urge to roll his eyes in annoyance!
"tum toh wahi ho na big screen wali! Thanks for being the support! " Virat said eith a genuine smile.
"arey Virat aapke liye kuchh bhi." She said with a blush.
'Virat AAP aur mujhse to tum karke baat karahi thi yeh kal raat jaise ki mai iska koi annoying padosi hu! Huh! Aur yeh tamatar ki tarah laal kyu ho rahi hai! Virat ne shaadi ke liye propose thodi kiya hai!' Shaurya thought.
"that's so sweet of you!" Virat said in return.
"Maine na aapke liye ek slam book bhi banayi hai." Anokhi told him.
She then took out the book from her bag and showed him!
"Wow that's so cute! Thank you so much!" He said smiling all the while.
'Itna smile karke yeh band thakta nhi hai?' Shaurya thought as he found Virat's smile annoying at the moment.
"can you give me your autograph?" Anokhi asked.
" Of course! " She heard Virat say.
And she took out another notebook and Virat gave his autograph.
"Thank you so much! Mai na aapki bohot badi fan hu.. I love how you play cricket!"
Virat smiled while Shaurya unwantedly watched the drama.
"Arey ek cheez toh mai bhul hi gayi." She said patting her head lightly.
She turned towards Shaurya!
"Can you click a picture of me and Virat?" She asked him breaking his trance of thoughts.
"me?" He asked to confirm and looked dumbfoundedly at her as she nodded in yes!
'Mai isko kis angle se photographer lagta hu?' He thought.
Shaurya slightly nodded his head and she immediately handed him the camera!
While she stood close to Virat and side hugged him! And Shaurya unwantedly clicked the pic!
"hogaya." Shaurya said
Anokhi went near Shaurya to take her phone back when she stopped in mid tracks and approached Ahir who came from behind!
"Ahir Chattwaal! Wow aapko pata hai meri friend ko aapki eyes bohot pasand hai." Anokhi said to which Ahir too smiled at her.
'Ise Ahir bhi pasand hai? Mujhse hi pata nhi kya dushmani hai iski! ' he thought while eyeing at Anokhi.
"Really? Aur kucch log hai jinhe meri eyes creepy lagti hai." Ahir said eyeing Shaurya who was looking everywhere but at Ahir.
"huh? Aisa koi stupid hi hoga.. Anyway can I click a picture with you? Meri friend ko jalane ke liye! " Anokhi said making Shaurya pissed at her remark.
"of course!" Ahir said.
Anokhi again turned towards Shaurya.
"haan haan samajh gaya mujhe photo click karni hai." Shaurya said in a bit pissed tone.
Ahir at first got confused at this as she clicked a picture with him while Shaurya was clicking it later he laughed inwardly!

And Ahir signed an autograph as well.
"Zada has mat! " Shaurya said in his No nonsense Captain tone to Ahir handing her phone back to her!
Ahir royally ignored him! And turned towards Anokhi.
"Waise tumhe inke saath picture nhi khichvani? After all he is our captain!" Ahir said.
"No thanks mujhe is sab ka koi shauk nhi hai!" Shaurya huffed.
"Aey selfie kheech lete hai inke saath." Anokhi said.
Shaurya tried running away from the camera but Ahir held him tightly so he just looked side ways with serious face!
While Ahir and Anokhi smiled looking at the camera!
After that Anokhi left and Ahir and Shaurya went to have break fast!
"finally koi toh mili jise meri ankhein pasand hai!" Ahir said in a dramatic tone.
"zada udo mat samjhe! Game pe focus karo toh zada accha hoga kyuki IPL ke baad world Cup ke liye team selection hone wala hai! Focus on getting in the team!" Shaurya said as a matter of fact.
"Mujhe pata hai tum aisa isliye keh re ho kyuki usne tumhe bhaav nhi diya.." Ahir teased.
Shaurya made a face and didn't say anything else as right now he was in his own dreamy world..
After that they left for the add shoot!
