I can somewhat understand her sentiment of thinking of them as family, but not of hiding the truth even after Manasi's marriage was stalled and there was no reason to hide it anymore. Krishna chose the wrong person to tell, poor naive girl, and while somewhere down the line even Pallu will appreciate not having to tell them the truth, the way it came out was horrid AF.
