From winning popularity on television, making a debut in films to foraying into the digital space,
is someone who explored varied mediums albeit doing limited work. While he won immense popularity with TV shows like Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Dill Mill Gayye, he went on to do films like Alone and Hate Story 3. Recently he also did a web show that brought him back to the limelight.
About exploring different mediums, Karan says, “I am lucky to have been a part of good content. With projects like these there were no limitations as to what I could do as an actor.”
The actor is thankful that today entertainment is served through multiple platforms. He says, “If I speak about these mediums individually then I must say that as an audience there is a lot more content that is being offered on
platforms. We can see that since a few years everything is shifting to the digital platform. This shift is inevitable. That’s why today the TV channels have a digital platform as well.”
He further adds, “As an actor if you ask me, then I must say that there’s no one medium that is liberating than the other. I was lucky to be given freedom in whatever I did. I am happy that the audience loved me back too.”
