I wish they hadn't gone to forced marriage- the ultimate cliche of tv these days.
I had said it previously too that this show has a time slot where the writers could do experiment. I wish raghvi had become somewhat like "friends" and that friendship making people question their relationship. Vijay going berserk when people accuse a girl being friends with Don, threatening Raghav, silent treatment, everything would have made sense then. They went with filler Lion track after that they could have gone with original saree shop challenge. Raghav developing soft corner for her and helping her to win, tentative peace truce, then some hit miss, maybe some side character helping them to interact more. Him developing feeling, then society wale starting to speak trash, as usual Raghav don't care but pallo does hence she tries to distance herself. Some angst, and maybe then like many writers in the forum said amma can arrange the marriage. And maybe during all these drama the widow truth could have come out.
Of course there can be many ways around ^^^^ forced marriage is absolutely trash, especially when in show whatever is going down is due to a vile woman who has god knows what issue with pallo, character assassination of two people who don't even like each other, disgusting words used, D clan all being mute spectator. And now pallo wants revenge, for what exactly? Shit writing. I remember there was a scene pallo mumbling in sleep she won't let Raghav take away her home or shop, I wish she had done this cause of some property issue. Family ki izzat is so bakwas when he has literally no fault. Stupid trashy writing.

Yes, Sister, I was part of IPKKND Forum. What happy days!
I confess, I really enjoy the cliche tropes of forced marriage and marriage of convenience. I don't enjoy hero-heroine developing friendships. I want them to despise each other until just before the declaration and I usually lose interest soon after their first-night. I know. I know. I'm weird :-)

There seems to be an audience for family-drama.
I don't usually mind it, if it serves a purpose.
The kind of family drama I don't enjoy is the Gopi Bahu-Kokila Modi variety. I find that gives me a headache---literally.
About this particular track - The OTT hate and angry dialogues between Raghav and Pallavi don't make sense. I feel the reason the whole drama felt more ridiculous than usual because of the lion track. While we know it was a filler, it did show Pallavi and Raghav develop an understanding. After the track was over, they jumped back to the original track. Everything looks out of place. If you can ignore the lion track, the story flows much better. Pallavi and Raghav are still at loggerheads and then get accused.
I'm actually pleased to read the above because it confirms what I have felt---that the dialogue this past week has been nonsensical at times. It has felt like they are speaking on top of each other not having actual back-and-forth.
I think this role reversal makes it more interesting and gives us something different to watch for a change. Doesn't mean I like these kinds of tracks, though, especially so early on in the show. I am glad he doesn't act all mahaan and doesn't waste time clearing the air.
Yes, if handled well---the role reversal is quite refreshing.
I like Raghav's angsty moments. I like that the writers have created a dark alpha male who still feels and expresses. Often writers who want to create a dark alpha-hero will strip him of emotions so he almost seems catatonic. I applaud MHRW for striking the right balance.

Oops!! Im sorry if my post made you feel like I was disagreeing with your views or not understanding why you made this post. Infact, I was gonna say that this is the kind of topic and discussions that I enjoy. I just read your original post in one go and quickly felt like replying without much thought so maybe it came out wrong. Also that time I didnt know which scenes you are picking to discuss or analyze. Just to be clear, I agree with your views on most topics and enjoy reading your take.
Thank you for clarifying. Because I find you bring a level of maturity to the discussion that I appreciate and look forward to your posts.

I'd love your feedback on my IPKKND FFs. Please DM me and I'll share the link.
I think the issue here is why Pallu feels the need to restore their happiness especially after being accused of abortion by her in laws. They pointed fingers at her chastity and this should have broken her trust in them. But she's still tryo g to take the blame and ruining someone else too. She may have misunderstood it was RR but then why would he come to the house to clear her name?
I just dont understand hate marriages in itv. It's different if she is compelled to do it to protect her family, but it does not look like it from what we are seeing.
If writers wanted hate marriage so bad, it would have been better to have the vamp Anjali join forces with Sulo, and do a repeat of MMS scandal only this time with Pallu in the picture. This certainly would have created more sense and logic behind a forced marriage.
@bold I wish the writers had shown this much sense. Their route to hate marriage is an absolute shame to a person’s common sense itself. The most irritating fact is after having such talented leads, we still end up with such tracks.
