He might feel he is not good enough for her and never vice versa. SO till Anokhi explains why he is important to her and keeps on repeating it, he will always feel this way

Yes they can show her becoming popular because of her leadership skills or maybe some beautiful outfit that she's wearing or because of her performance.... Guys from other departments will be crushing on her and Shaurya will overhear

Yes to all that! Shaurya and Ahir are two sides of the same coin. Both want their way but their methods are just different. One is not better than the other. We just accept Shaurya’s ways because we know sympathize with his backstory....while we know nothing of Ahir’s past. I hope we learn something about him so we can understand him. I mean I loved when Anokhi showed them both their place and left them to fight over her as she went with her friends. It showed that she is not about to be made into some trophy that they can flaunt in each other's faces.

Also Vaish mentioned this a few days ago about this line from the movie Happy Days which in this context would be about how just because her and Shaurya are on the outs doesn't mean that ACP has a chance with her all of a sudden. After seeing the precap I kind of can see her saying the dialogue. She might not say it as bluntly, but she might say some variation of it nonetheless

I think it's a weird emotional blackmail thing actually because he is clearly really nice to her and so she wouldn't be rude to him. She clearly feels indebted to him because he helped her so many times which she clearly mentioned to Shaurya after the restaurant(which now makes me think that's why they needed him at the riots otherwise she wouldn't have the same propriety around him). Interestingly, she doesn't feel indebted to Shaurya and it's because he doesn't make her feel like he has done her a favor. I don't think ACP does either explicitly but his actions make it hard for her to say no to his advances. Because he is never totally upfront with her either. I mean it's ironic that he would tell Shaurya to man up and confess when he didn't do that either. It's ironic that he would complain that Shaurya tries to interfere when he literally didn't want to let her go with Shaurya today either.

I think we've talked about this before that where ACP has tried to oneup Shaurya, Shaurya has never done that. It might be because as Akanksha is saying, Shaurya doesn't actually think he is better whereas ACP feels like objectively he would be the better choice between the two of them. But you're right that doesn't take into account her feelings and though he suggested that he was just using the race thing as an example, as Shaurya said, things don't get said when they aren't already in your mind. ACP is treating this as some sort of game which is why he is far more strategic with the way he riles Shaurya up than Shaurya is. Shaurya just reacts, but ACP is smarter about his moves. I agree that at this point, neither of them are really that great. Like LOL who told these two men that they are even in the running at all? Who are they to sit in a jail at night deciding who will back off? A part of me feels now that all his "feminist" thoughts that he says around Anokhi are only for her benefit. In the end his behavior reflects a subtle misogyny where he still wants to make the decision for her. I do think that once ACP backs off, he will be good for Shaurya's growth as demonstrated at various points in today's episode.

@blue I am going to wait this one out, I mean I can definitely see the potential not just between the actors but characters too, because today finally Ahir no longer felt like a prop but I want to wait to regarding their friendship because their ideology does seem to lean towards misogyny with the only difference being in approach so I want to see a few more interactions before making up my mind 😆

Imagine that ACP was a totally stand up guy, then we would look at SS and be like this guy is actually ridiculous. However today we see that ACP isn't perfect either. I feel like he has some strains of controlling behavior too, they just don't manifest in the same way. Shaurya says things in anger and ACP does things through making the other person feel bad. Anokhi clearly didn't want to do the puja with him she clearly didn't want him to walk her home. His insistence isn't great either because he isn't really taking her opinion into consideration. He ends up doing what he wants just like SS ends up doing what he wants. And I agree, until Shaurya finds out that Anokhi likes him back and that ACP doesn't have feelings for her, Shaurya will never be comfortable with him around her.

Actually Shru...after seeing today's epsiode...I feel even if Anokhi was a real life person, her best choice is Shaurya. Cause of we see her graph, the comfort and trust that she has with SS , comes naturally to her ,like its her second nature. Its a natural bond tbh. Its like we have this with some ppl in our lives, we can get comfy with them without thinking.

In today's episode.....they brought ACP's character down for me. Srsly can't imagine myself liking him, and its not because of his tashan with Shaurya. It's because of him being this unethical. The fact that even when Shaurya had a problem with Anokhi and didn't wamt her to get admission in the college, he didn't go unethical on her. He tried to stop her admission , while limiting himself in the ethics part.

Even when he met Ahir for the first time and warned him that he will reach his seniors...he didn't exactly do it.

Even when he wanted the hostel room for Anokhi, he didn't throw anyone else out.

Yes, he scares ppl with his aura and warnings, but never has he done anything unethical on his part.

Plus, I love that they showed a side of Ahir that we hadn't noticed before. He is a controlling guy. And here, his control was way more toxic than what Shaurya is known for. I had complains that Shaurya will control her life. But now I feel like Shaurya Anokhi have their own thing going on and as viewers we need to understand that their control is a two way thing. Anokhi literally talks and behaved in the same controlling and authoritative manner with Shaurya during Astha track. Shaurya didn't start with this "haqq" thing, she did. And the fact that Anokhi never has a problem with him jatao-ing his haqq on her , makes is consensual. She dosen't feel like she's forced.

Ahir on the other hand, is not understanding that she dosen't want this.

I feel with Shaurya, Anokhi is very different. She gives him alot of liberty and she expects the same out of him. The girl very clearly stated in the initial episodes that she wants Shaurya to trust her, even though he had no reasons to. She expected that out of him. Initially it was mostlu cause he was a teacher and she wanted to be im his good books.

But eventually she got too personal, and still wanted him to to listen to her, trust her words , be there for her , protect her, and its a never ending list!
