Mistakes are not a problem but never learning from them is. Leaves no room for growth or character arcs.

Kartik’s character I started disliking since a long time esp when he kidnapped an infant and later on supported his molester cousins 😵

Naira was fiery in the start but later on she became a major disappointment- very needy, clingy, no self respect, and sometimes just plain stupid.

Here I really find big problem with the writers... In order to cash shivin/kaira fan base to gain their trps, they just not only destroyed kaira ,they didn't left any scope for any story... What I meant to say is only just because of trps they started jumping from one story to another without giving proper closure to previous one... Like for instance , during mihir track ,the problem with kartik-naira separation was not just that question , in fact that question was the ultimate result of many problems kartik was facing at that time....in fact kartik realised after like 10min that he was wrong in asking that question, the main problem of kartik in that track was inferiority complex/jealousy, that naira is better than him.... and later dadi ignited that feeling during award ceremony of naira... But instead of giving proper closure to that track...post 5yr leap, writers made that track all about that question.... Naira was a working woman since very beginning (for her dance academy) ...but when she started getting famous , kartik started feeling inferior... especially when he was not able to save her from goons.. so post leap they never addressed that problem.... that whole sums up like if you are a working woman , your husband no matter how much he claims to love you, is going to doubt on your chr, so better leave your work

Same goes with kairav depression track.... Atlast they proved that consulting a psychiatrist is not good for your minor...

U r right. this is such a valid point that was never addressed. Kartik’s content as long as Naira is doing good* with his help and guidance. When she did better on her own professionally, he got insecure.
adding to the last point - if u are a working women + who is doing better than her husband in a professional capacity - then he’ll doubt your character.

The Ridhima track was so horribly executed. Like they took a good topic of depression/anxiety and seeking professional help for mental health and they made her a pyscho obsessed lover/mother!!! I wanted to pull out my hair out.

And hated when Naira called Ridhima a “baharwali” even before she had started to show any symptoms of “vamp ness”.

Like what stupid message is that? Then why show any doctor ever? Sab kuch apne aap hi treat kar lo at home. Therapist/psychiatrist is baharwali and baki doctors/medical professionals are not? Stupid dialogue to add feather to FL’s cap.

Inspite of all the mistakes they commit..they are called mahan

In ideal work do you really think kirti would like kaira for snatching all the limelight? Or Naksh who faced everything all alone .

Riddhima's track was the worst ever.In the times where everyone is uncertain and with help of therapist they might find some help ...they ruined it & sent out a msg that dont go for a therapy coz she might snatch your son& hubby away.

Also to mention...Karthik's sister killed Akshara.

While the family was not only forgiven for lying & all but INSTEAD Naira ended up saying sorry .

I would never even forgive someone who hurt my mom !! I dont think anyone in real world would

Riddhima's track was doomed since the beginning.

1) Naira's first reaction was negative & she called the therapist a 'baharwali'. Naira mata can never be proven wrong

2) This problem was created by Naira. Cannot show a young, pretty female friend of ML solving the problems created by FL. Riddhima herself had to become a problem because all solutions have to come from Naira (or sometimes Kaira)

The character of Naira is despicable no doubt, but I want to talk about the writers of such tracks. In Indian movies or television, whenever there is a track about a man's possible infidelity, it is usually there for comedy or humor. But whenever there is one about a woman's possible infidelity, it is such a serious and drama-inducing track. Of course, there are exceptions, but this is the general trend. Hypocrisy is everywhere.

So glad there are other people who've noticed this too! It's so blatant & honestly quite disgusting
