Halluu Meri Jaans ! I'm back for a little bit just to drop off this piece. I know a lot of you been asking me to continue my previous works, but honestly I have no idea how to. My ideas always comes at a drop of a hat, and I'm very very bad at expanding them into bigger stories đ
Well anyways, here is a small piece after yesterday's blunder by Vansh. (I don't know why I always write something whenever he frustrates me đ). Anyway, bear in mind that I haven't seen todays episode yet, and this is just my way of concluding yesterday's verbal sparring between Husband and Wife (that shouldn't have EVEN TAKEN PLACE đđ). Once again, Hindi isn't my first language, so excuse any grammatical blunders. Please and thank you â„ïž

âWhat say Riddhima ? Will you join us ?â
Riddhima looked at him dumbfounded. Tears starting to form in her eyes. She took a deep breath and got a hold of herself.
Seriously ? Seriously ? Heâs flirting with this cheap b*tch right in front of me ? Asking me to drink wine in my condition ? Fine. If thatâs how he wants to play it. To hell with him. Sheâs got so many other important things to worry about.
Riddhima turned and looked at Kiara. The girl was smirking at her as if sheâs won the biggest lottery ever. Riddhima rolled her eyes and turned back to Vansh. Putting on her best smile, she replied to him in kind.
âNo thank you. Woh kiya haina, iss condition mein wine... is not good for me. Vaise bhi, you know I donât really enjoy drinking. But if youâre in the mood for it, you can go ahead. Bring Kiara to the bar, itâs fully stocked as always. You both can drink to your heartâs content.â
âOh haan, right. Well I guess thatâs a shame. Shall we, Vansh ?â
Kiara replied in a smug tone.
With a smirk at his confused face, Riddhima turned and went to her vanity. She started to take off her jewelry but seeing as both of them are still standing there awkwardly, she continued on.
âArrey, abhi bhi yahan kyun kade hain ? Jao na, Iâm sure Kiara has a lot of things to talk to you about. And as you know, pregnancy ki wajah se, bina light off mujhe so nahi sakti. Aur ab, mujhe bahut neend arahi hain.â
She went to the door and gestured for them to move out. Kiara with a wide smile, headed out expecting Vansh to follow behind her. Vansh was reaching for his shirt to put it on, when he froze hearing his wifeâs comment.
âAnyway, itâs not like youâve never done this before.â
Riddhima threw a jibe at him. And hearing that Vansh flinched.
âBas yaad rakhna, what the consequences was last time.â
Vansh widened his eyes. It looked as if the most painful memory of his life was flashing right in front of his eyes. He remembered how he brought Ahana here and almost damned well lost Riddhima that day at the taxi stand. He remembered her back view in that blasted red lehenga as she walked away from him.
All the painful memories kept repeating in his head.
He walked to the door and saw Kiara waiting at the threshold. Without another word, he closed and locked the door. Seeing Kiara's ugly dumbfounded face, he closed the curtains.
Here Riddhima had again turned her back to him not realising what he did. She stood in front of the vanity and continued removing her jewellery, lost in her own thoughts. She was thinking on how Vansh seems to have forgotten the lessons theyâve been through together. It wasnât about her not trusting him. Itâs about him not respecting her as his wife right in front of others. Last night, it was Dadi and Ishani. And now this cheap b*tch. She was tired of always having to defend her self respect. Now itâs up to him on what he wants to do next.
She heard the door closed. She took a deep breath and froze the next second as she heard the lock turning. She heard the closing of the curtains and still didnât move. She finally lifted her head when she felt hands around her waist from behind.
Those same hands help her remove her heavy bangles and placed them on the vanity. Next they help her remove her earrings. Still she stood watching her husbands moves through the mirror and didnât utter a word. She felt hurt honestly, but she was too tired to care.
Vansh turned her around and sat her down on the stool. He sat crossed legged in front of her and put his face close to her stomach.
âIâm sorry bacche. Papa ki wajah se, Mumma naraz ho gayi,â
With that one sentence, Vansh knew exactly how to melt her anger. But Riddhima still tried hard to maintain an aloof expression.
Seeing no change in his wife, Vansh placed his hand on her lower stomach where their love was growing. He was surprised to feel that it was a lot bigger than before. Reality finally hit him that their baby is really actually growing inside of her.
With all that has been going on, he finally realizes how all this stress must not be good for his wife. He remembered how when Ishani was pregnant, everybody treated her as a queen. But here his wife was suffering from his familyâs abuse daily. Also whatâs been happening with the black box, that damned secret of what happened in those 6 hours. And here he was, adding more to her stress by deliberately disrespecting her. That too in front of another woman. When he shouldâve been pampering her.
What if she leaves him like last time ? What if she is finally done with his and his familyâs bullshit ? His breathing started to quicken. He kept on remembering her walking away from him. Kept remembering her words that there will never be another woman who loves him as selfless as she does.
Not able to take it anymore, he hugged Riddhima tightly with his face buried in her stomach.
Riddhima startled with Vanshâs move, finally soften her expressions. She can feel him breathing shallowly and knew that his panic attacks would start anytime soon. She placed her hand in his hair and started to gently brush them. Her other hand softly rubbed his back to calm him down.
âMein kahi nahi jane wali.â
Vansh hearing her words starts to calm down.
âIâm sorry Riddhima, I donât know what got in to me. I should be pampering you. Letting you enjoy your pregnancy stress free. But I got so frustrated with all these games between us.â
âI know Vansh. Par meri Jaan, can you not have a little faith in my love ?â
âI do ! You know I do ! But Iâm just so afraid. Everything is falling apart all at the same time. Dadi is pressuring me, Ishani is angry and taking my most trusted man away from me, Siya is behaving like a rebel teenager and Aryan keeps going after us. Youâre the only person that is fully mine, Riddhima. And with all thatâs been going on between us, I just got so frustrated and angry.â
âI know baby, I know. But that doesn't mean you can talk to me like that in front of another woman."
"I'm sorry Riddhima. I'm soo sorry, mujhe maaf kardena,"
"Teek hai, I forgive you. But please, just hold on a little longer. Just believe, that whatever Iâm doing is for us. This time Iâm asking you to trust me. Mein jaanti hoon ki tumhare liye, yeh asaan nahi hai. You never had anybody you could trust fully before. Everything has always been on your shoulders. Alone. Magar phir bhi, iss bar tum akele nahi ho. Iâm here, our baby is here. Weâre both are here with you. Just hold on a little bit longer meri Jaan.â
Cupping his face, Ridhhima gently pulled him into a sweet kiss. It was amazing how this one sweet little kiss can put to rest all the insecurities each of them are facing. How this one sweet gesture gave peace to all the demons in both their hearts. How it strengthens their love.
Vansh pulls away slowly and looked deeply into Riddhimaâs eyes. He saw honesty. He knows that her eyes has never lied to him. And finally he decided to take the jump.
âI trust you, Riddhima.â
âAnd I trust you, Vansh.â
It was better than claiming their love for each other because at the end of the day they know, their love was a fact that neither can deny. But trust, it has always been an issue in their relationship. It was their downfall before, and they promised to each other never to repeat that mistake ever again. Whatever happens tomorrow, they know that they will always be there to catch each other if one of them falls.
The End
AN: There you goooo ! I just needed an honest conversation between these two finally. And it's also an excuse for me to humiliate lollipop didi by throwing her out of their room when she thought she has finally won đđđđ
