Chapter 13- Wake up please

After one week, Riddhima condition was worsening, the doctor were scared she may have multiple organ failure, it is important that she wakes up, it seems that she is losing the will to live.

Riddhima's mother and father were devastated, her mother was always crying, she even begged Vansh to do something, or ask her to come back, they knew she always listened to her.

Vansh himself was in a depressed state, he had lost so much in life and now he might lose Riddhima again, he can't let that happen. He went to Riddhima's room, even when sleeping she looks so beautiful. He held her hand for few minutes, and then spoke

V- Doctor used to say, talking to you will help you. So this me talking, i wanted to say i am sorry for everything that happened, i was coward for not standing up for you. I was so engrossed in my own dilemma that i didn't stop Ishani.

Deep down i believed you, but my mind wanted proof. I have everything in my life, my parents, my happiness, my friend and my will to live. So, come back, fight me, shout at me do anything.

If not for me then for your parents, please wake up, i can't lose the person i have started to love. Please wake up.

He felt Riddhima squeezing his hand, he looked up to see her looking at him. She spoke slowly

R- You don't even let me sleep.

V-You have slept enough.

The doctor came and checked on Riddhima, they had told Vansh, that they will still try to keep her under observation, just so everything is normal. Her parents were happy. Most of all he was happy that she is fine. He had came to visit her the next day,

R- Vansh please take me from here i don't want to stay here. 🥺🥺

V- Just one more day.

V- Riddhima, i wanted to say, i am sorry.

R- Vansh you have said, sorry enough to last a lifetime. How about a real clean slate, without any emotional baggage. (Forwarding her hand)- Friends.

Vansh hugged her instead and though he just didn't want to be her, he wanted more from her. And he will make sure she falls in love with him just as much he loves her.

Chapter 14- Growing closer.

The following days Vansh has been helping Riddhima and her family. He took her back to the house even carried her to her bedroom, Riddhima was feeling different she didn't know why she blushed when he took her in his arms, Vansh teased her,

V- Yaar, Hospital mein so kar weight badh gaya hain tumhare.

R- Haww how mean😡😡 tumko kisi ne bola tha to carry me. I can walk.

V- Sure.

He laid her gently on the bed, he would help her parents by bringing medicines, grocery and any other thing they needed. Riddhima opened her laptop and looked at her website, people had came to know about her accident and wished her speedy recovery. It seems, her accident made her more popular. Even Ayush called her,

A- Ms.Raima, i hope you are better now.

R- Yes Mr. Mittal i am better now, i hope Roshni ko mere design pasand aaye the.

A- Yes, she was very happy with them. You should take rest i will come and meet you later.

Vansh who was listening to her talking to Ayush was feeling jealous, he didn't know why he did not like that man, his vibes were all wrong, but he won't force his opinion on her, he will not let that man come in between them.

Vansh and Riddhima had dinner together and they were chocolate muffins after it. Riddhima looks at Vansh, he was looking so different his face had hollowed out so much, he had become so weak, looking after here.

R- Vansh will do something for me?

V- Sure

R- Stay with me tonight. You look so tired, remember when you didn't feel like sleeping at your house, you sleep in mine.

V- Are you sure? What about your parents?

R- They won't mind.

Vansh laid on her stomach like he used to do when they were small. She ran her fingers through his hair, slowly he relaxed and feel asleep. Riddhima woke up to shouting, she felt Vansh moving around in his sleep.

R- Vansh wake up please, wake up. She shaked him slowly. He woke up with a start.

V- Riddhima?

R- I am here. Are you alright?

V- Just a bad dream.

R- You want to talk about it.

V- No, he just hugged her tightly, she ran her hands on his shoulder, for the first time in het life she had actually checked him out.

R- Come on let's go back to sleep.

The next day Roshni and Ayush had come to meet them. Ayush was trying to become cozy to Riddhima but Vansh would always intervene. Whereas Riddhima was feeling weird since Roshni was eyeing Vansh. She didn't know why but she didn't like one bit.

Ayush was feeling frustrated, this Vansh was spoiling all his plans to get closer to Riddhima, he had to find a way to have her, she is his guilty pleasure, like all the other girls he had. Riddhima is like a cherry on the cake.

Roshni and Riddhima were talking when suddenly she asked him about Vansh, Riddhima didn't know why but she lied,

Ro- So, is Vansh single? And tumne bataya nahi tumhara dost itna hot and handsome hai. I mean with beard he looks so sexy.

R- He is not single Roshni, he is engaged.

Ro- To whom?

R- Ragini. His friend.

Ro- oh, waise Riddhima tell me you never had feelings for him?

Chapter 15- Ayush's plan

Riddhima had quickly returned back to work, she was feeling cooped up. No matter how much Vansh and her parents objected. She had drew quite a lot of dress designs when she was at home. She needs to work on them.

Riddhima's phone was ringing again and again, it was Vansh but she didn't want to take his call, since the accident things has been so weird between them, sometimes she would see him looking at her with such intensity, that she would blush. She didn't know why she was angry, but she didn't like Roshni giving heart eyes to Vansh.

She was still in her thoughts when Vansh came inside the shop, looking all anxious.

R- What happened? Why are huffing?

V- You weren't picking up my call i thought something happened to you.

R- Oh, i am sorry was busy.

V- Are you avoiding me? Did i do something wrong?

R- Vansh no, i wasn't avoiding you trust me.

Roshni came into the store at that moment, to invite her to a party and she invited Vansh as well. She had strictly told both of them should be there. Riddhima was pacing in her room, she had nothing to wear atleast not for a party.

A parcel had came for her, it was from Vansh, he had selected beautiful red gown for her. She blushed thinking how much he has started to care for her. He had arrived half hour later, in a black tuxedo looking all nice and handsome.

They went to Ayush's place, the party was full on but Ayush was searching for his prey, he saw Riddhima and Vansh coming inside, Riddhima looked so sexy in her red gown, if only he could have her without any problem.

Roshni was happy to see them, she took Riddhima away to meet all her friends, saying it will be good for her business. While Ayush and Vansh were at the bar.

A- So you are her best friend?

V- Yes, i am

A- Tell me is she single?

V(narrows his eyes)- Why you want to know?

A- Just a curiosity.

V- No she is not single she has a secret admirer in her life 🤭🤭🤭

A- Hmm, excuse me.

Riddhima and Roshni came to the bar, they were thirsty, Roshni quickly took a shot of Vodka and dragged Vansh to the dance floor.

V- Ummm, i don't like to dance Ms. Roshni.

Ro- Aare just sway a bit, i want to see Riddhima's reaction. I am 100%sure she is jealous.

V- Jealous and Riddhima?

Ro- Yep, she was when she thought i was eyeing you. And right now too, she is looking at me like she wants to murder me.

Vansh looked towards Riddhima and saw her glaring at him, should he dare to hope, that maybe she likes him. Ayush had taken the exact moment to put his plan in action. The waiter had already spiked Riddhima's drink and she was upset seeing Vansh with Roshni and had left the hall.

Riddhima felt tears in her eyes, it felt history was repeating itself, she will again lose Vansh. She had just stepped out of the party, when she felt dizzy, she would have fallen down, if Ayush had not caught, smirking he took her to his room. He is going to enjoy a lot tonight.
