I swear all desi mums are the same 😆 my mum's "secret" recipes are only secret bc she changes up what she adds to things very often, and it's always some kind of "healthy substitute", so it's an exercise in frustration when I ask for a recipe bc she's like "well normally people add x, y, z to this but MY version replaces A for x, B for y and sometimes C for z...and sometimes I add 4 and 5 as well, but that's only if you're making it on a full moon day..." (lol not really)...and I'm like FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MOTHER JUST TELL ME HOW TO MAKE THIS DAMN DISH OR DO IT YOURSELF 🤣

Just a recent scene at my cousin's marriage, we didn't attend...corona.
She gifted my cousin lingerie along with other "normal gifts" if you will. 🤣 My bua was embarrassed as heck and she was like maa kya hai ye. Dadi literally replied "Tu hawa se nhi tapki thi"🤣🤣🤣
