Exclusive: Karan Singh Grover opens up about his inspiration behind his paintings

also took a plunge into Bollywood and has been a part of films like Alone and Hate Story 3. Recently, he also explored the digital space with a couple of web projects. Amidst all this, Karan has also kept himself occupied with one thing that comes naturally to him, which is painting.

In his free time or as a stress buster Karan has always taken to this form of art. The actor opened up to BT about what inspires him to do the paintings, some of which he’s put up on his social media and has drawn a lot of attention.

He says, “Honestly speaking, everything around me and within me has been my inspiration. I don’t look at anything and paint. I can’t copy things. I can’t make the same thing again and again. So, it just happens!”

He further adds, “Sometimes when I start painting I don’t even know what it is. May be because I don’t have the professional knowledge and it leads me to learn more about the art. So, I learn more about it and understand it and then I am able to complete the piece of art. Frankly speaking, I feel like whatever I am making is already there around us, but it is coming into physical form through me.”

Karan Singh Grover, who was last seen in the sequel of his hit show 'Qubool Hai', is currently a very busy man. Riding high on the success of his web series 'Qubool Hai 2.0', the actor has signed a couple of interesting projects this year. He has reportedly signed a film, which stars Randeep Hooda in the lead. Besides being a skilled actor, Karan Singh Grover is also a fitness icon for many, and likes to eat clean most of the time. On Monday evening, he shared a picture of a delicious yellow curry that was served with a side of hot brown rice. The soothing curry included crunchy vegetables like broccoli and green onions; and the addition of chicken made the dish high in protein. Brown rice is also considered to be a much healthier alternative for white rice.

The healthy and wholesome dish was prepared by Karan's wife and actor Bipasha Basu, who has proven time and again that she is not just a fabulous actor, but also an excellent cook.
