Especially in today's climate, and everything that happened last summer, he has to know better. It's not necessary to engage in vices in order to prove something or get somewhere. It is possible to make your own path through sheer hard work alone.

I feel its not his type. If I hear him talking about strict upbringing, academics etc. I wonder if this is really where he wants to be. I feel its more that he started there got accepted and now kinda stuck
