As per recent episodes Amrit has only one brother, Bhanu. I guess the makers have not yet written a proper post-leap story for Uday. Most likely scenario is excommunication because of his marriage with Vashma. Amrit has already been taunted enough for similar stuff.

Hoping that the writers remember sooner than later that there is a character called Uday.
