Honestly yaar, ye overacting sabse bada issue hai. The two ladies, Happy's mother and sister-in-law do the most overacting. SIL is a complete melodramatic person.

Lagta hai ab ye skipping roz-roz ka hone waala hai. Just waiting for them to land up in Bharat Nagar according to the parampara.

(Although BN ke scenes dekh kar S1 ke Debu-KJ, Debu-Khushi, Debu-Vivaan ki yaad aayegi 😒)
