Yes Baba's anger doesn't seem to be coming from a place of concern for pallavi's welfare. He is reacting like a FIL who suspects his bahu of cheating. If he had accepted mandar's death and pallu as a daughter, he wouldn't have had problems with other rishtas or raghav. So what if she is spending time with a wrong man (according to baba anyway), she is a widow and single. The looks baba gives to pallavi are simply silly if they are not already disgusting.
