Chapter 13 - Saving Raima and hiding.

Vihaan didn't think for a second and jumped into the water. He knew Raima had a phobia of water,and now when she was shot, she couldn't swim. He followed the trail of blood and quickly pulled her out. He pressed her stomach to get the water, when it didn't help he tried to do CPR when she coughed water suddenly.

Aditya had reached there, his guards took Riddhima and Vihaan to the hospital, and he searched the building, Vansh was no where to be found, but what shocked him was the ring he found there, Aditya thought how could he be alive. If he returns he will destroy them.

Raima was in surgery and Vihaan had few stitches. Her injuries were not that bad, the bullet had only nicked her, it was water in the lungs that made it difficult for her to breathe. But they kept her on oxygen and the chest tube was helping her.

Vihaan was furious he could have killed Vansh, Aditya had told he was nowhere to be found. But he could see Aditya was disturbed and he was not in right frame of mind to question him.

Vansh was baffled, he was pretty sure, he didn't fire exactly at Riddhima then how come she got shot, he had saw someone run away but he couldn't follow him because Aditya had reached there, he needed to hide so that he could find out about the person who tried to kill her.

He had asked Angre, to get information about the royal family, past, present. He needed to know who is their enemy.

Aditya had hidden a truth from Riddhima, they had a cousin who was ruling, when he had returned home. It was him who taught everything to Aditya, but what broke Aditya's heart was his family was the reason their parents died.

When he came to know the truth he had beaten him blue and black and left him in desert dying. He had made fake papers, showing that the King had okayed him to be the next ruler if he dies. This ring proves he is back to his kingdom. But he will not leave anyone alive.

PS- Just a filler episode, Vansh finds about the Assassin, Vihaan and Riddhima getting close.

Chapter 14 Almost Kiss, Planning

The doctor's had discharged Raima, they had asked her to do no strenous activities. Vihaan took her back to the palace. Aditya was still feeling guilty about what had happened and he had decided to tell Raima the truth.

Raima was getting bored ,no one was letting her do anything, she decided she wanted to go outside for some fresh air, she quickly changed into a floral dress but since she was shot in the arm she wasn't able to use it properly to close the zip of the dress.

Vi- Raima i wanted to talk...

R- Oh my god...

Vi- Sorry, i didn't know you were changing, i will go...

R- Wait, could you help me with the zip...i cannot reach it.

Vi- Are you sure?

R- Yes..

Vihaan slowly moves towards her, they are hyper aware of each other. He slowly pulls the zip upwards, his finger touching her bare back, she felt shivers.

Vi- Done. Waise where are you going?

R- Outside i just wanted some fresh air, i don't want to be cooped up.

Vihaan slowly traces his fingers up her arms, and he holds her neck delicately, they lean towards each other and were almost going to kiss, when they heard Aditya voice.

A- Really guys, at least close the door, do you want to give Dadi a heart attack 🤭🤭👀👀.

Vi- What are you doing here?

A- I need to talk to you, can we talk outside.

Aditya told them everything about the Assassin, and how he fears that he is out to kill Riddhima because of him. They were planning what to do next, they had agreed to increase security and make sure Riddhima was not alone.

Vansh had finally found all the information about the family, he also came to know about the Assassin, he cannot risk Riddhima life again, he needs to speak with Aditya and Vihaan so that they can protect Riddhima.

Vihaan and Aditya were sitting in the garden area, Dadi was with Raima they were discussing the security situation when Vansh came towards them.

A- What the hell are you doing here?😡😡Putting my sister life in danger, was not enough.

Vi- Easy, Aditya let him speak.

Va- I know about the Assassin,and i want to protect her.

A- Ya, and i believe you. 😡😒

Vi- Look we don't need your help, we will manage.

Va- Ya like you knew Riddhima was outside when he shot her, or when you saved her from getting stabbed.

Vi- You 😡😡

R- Vihaan...

Va- Riddhima are you alright?

R- I am fine Mr. Raisinghania, look guys i know you want to protect me, but i have a solution. Use me as a bait. Lure him out and kill him.

Va- What no that's dangerous

A- Jiji are you out of your mind?

Vi- Raima, are sure? It's a big gamble..

R- Yes, you are a world class sniper, day after tomorrow is the coronation ritual, i am sure he will try to attack me then, maybe you can take him out.

Vi- I will do my best, but we will have to tighten security as well.

Va- I can help.

A- Alright, no one can change your mind then.

R- No.

Dadi was listening to all the conversations she needs to tell him about their plan. She cannot have Raima as the queen, they are not her son's blood, yes both Raima and Aditya were adopted, Nandini was barren, but Tej married her because he truly loved her. But love has no place in kingdom or its politics. He is true heir of this kingdom.

Chapter 15 - Future Talks, the Assassin kills Dadi.

Vihaan was sitting in his room, he had just received orders from Army headquarters to come back next month. Usually he would have been happy, but now he doesn't want to leave Raima.

Raima had been searching for Vihaan usually he would be around her or Adi. She found him in his room, looking at some papers seriously.

R- Vihaan, is your leave going to be over soon?

Vi- Yeah, and as much as i want to be excited, i am not. I don't want to leave you again.

R- Why?😏🤔

Vi- You really have to ask? I want to know something.

R- Sure.

Vi- Whatever is between us, i hope it is not a case of rebound. I will give time as much as you want. But the truth is i love you, have for a long time.

R- It's not rebound, but i need time, i need to be free from Vansh, i need time for myself. I don't want to lose you too.

Vi- I understand, how about i accept this order, and return to my post. I can take volunteer retirement, and come here, after all a queen needs her Knight 😏😏👀

Raima was looking at him with love, the same care she yearned from Vansh, the selfish need to be first. She leaned down and kissed him slowly, thank God he was sitting on the bed, otherwise he would have fallen down.

He pulled her more closely into his lap, they were kissing each other like they haven't met each other in a long time. He slowly, laid her down on the bed ,without breaking the kiss. They were full on making out when Vihaan phone blared with messages from Aditya

A- Oh my god.😱😱

A- Stop making out with my sister 🙏🙏

A- If you do close the door, i don't need to see it.🙏🙏😑😑

Aditya whisked Vihaan away, while Raima was sitting on the bed and blushing thinking about what happened. Dadi had went to visit the Assassin, he was clearly pissed off that none of his plans were not working.

Dadi told him about the plan the Aditya and the trio had made, and how Riddhima will be a bait to lure him out. He was happy thinking they were making things easy for her. But right now he had more pressing matters.

He suddenly grabbed Dadi's neck and growled in her face.

M- None of this would have happened, if you had killed Raima and Aditya when i told you they were alive.

D- I tried but i couldn't find them, different people saved them.

M- And now that f^lthy b^tch is going to be queen of my Kingdom 😡😡😡😈😈😈. Time to give them a lesson.

He started choking Dadi, she struggled, tried to hit him, scratch him but he was stronger, and he quickly finished the job by breaking her neck. He ordered his men to take the body back to palace along with it, a note saying, 'This is Just the beginning'.

Chapter 16- The kidnapping in coronation

Raima after a long time was feeling chirpy and happy, and all thanks to Vihaan. He never questioned her, he let her take her pace and talk about things.

With Vansh she was afraid to share her thoughts, her secrets maybe because of the way, their relationship started and also because truthfully she never felt safe around him. All his promises to keep her safe were mere words. In the end he protected his family, yet he forgot to include her in it.

She was going to the garden, when her scream echoed throughout the palace.

R- DADI!!!!

A- Di, what.. DADI... he checked her pulse. She was gone. Vihaan reached there too, he saw Aditya trying to pull Raima back, she was shock.

R-Adi, let me go...

Vi- RAIMA, (he shouted)- she is gone, Raima hugged him and started crying, even though she didn't get along with her much, she wouldn't wish this on anyone. She felt furious, they needed to kill this Assassin.

R- I will that B^stard myself 😈😈

Vi- Raima, we will take care of him, i promise. Aditya i think we should postpone the coronation.

A- No, i don't think so, we need to show this b^stard that we are not weak. Also, i think you should see this, he shows the video of Dadi with Assassin and talking about killing Raima and Aditya.

A- The day Raima was shot, and i found the ring, i connected the dots, the ring was of Dadi, i had the vague memory of touching it Dadi scolding me. Since then i had kept tabs on her, and put a tracker and camera in her chain.

A- We will continue with our plan. The Coronation will happen tomorrow.

The next day, the palace was decorated beautifully, servants were told not to mention anything about Dadi, and if someone asks, tell them she had to go back due to emergency.

Raima was getting ready for the coronation, she felt betrayed and most of all furious, is no one in her life truthful, everyone has being hiding one thing or another, suddenly she heard him from behind

M- Hello Raima,

R(turning)- You😡😡

M- If you want your precious, Vihaan and Aditya to be safe come with me, otherwise there will be blood shed on your coronation.

R- I will come with you, don't hurt them.

M- Keep quiet and we will see.

Aditya, Vihaan and Vansh were waiting for Raima to come downstairs, the pandit was getting antsy, the muharat was going away, and doing anything after that will bring bad luck. Aditya was feeling restless, he ran to her and his instincts were right, she is gone.

A- GUARDS, search the palace, Raima is missing.

A- Vihaan, i think that Assassin took her.

Va- He must have threatened to harm us that's why she went without a fight.

A- Don't worry I had tracker installed in her jewellery as well. He won't be spared this time.

PS- Raima fighting Assassin, Vansh getting hurt.

So, the story will finish in next 2-4 chapter.

Chapter 17- Saving Raima

Raima's bracelet was showing the same address, where Aditya had beaten the Assassin, guess it is a full circle. She was bound to a chair, good thing she was good at opening knots.The Assassin ran a gloved finger on her cheek,

M- You are quite beautiful, too bad i have kill you.

R- I don't care what you do to me but don't harm my family.

M- Oh i am scared. He turned around walking towards the window when Raima slammed the chair on him, and ran.

He growled and followed her, the lehenga making it difficult to run, she quickly hid herself, and looking for a weapon, she saw a knife, he was near her when she stab him in the leg, he fell down, but he grabbed her threw her on the back, and then started choking her.

Suddenly he was thrown away from her, Vihaan quickly pulled Raima up, and gave her to Aditya. He and Vansh hit him together and again, until he was down bleeding.

Vi- Raima you alright?

R- Nods

Vansh suddenly saw the Assassin trying to attack Vihaan with knife but he pushed him and the knife hit him. Riddhima took Vihaan's gun and killed the Assassin with a bullet to his head.

R- Vansh, oh my God your bleeding.

Vi- We need to take him to a hospital.

They all went to the hospital, Raima got checked up, she was fine just bruises on her neck, Vansh was in a critical condition, but stable, the doctors had kept him under observation.

Two days later, he was discharged Raima had asked him to stay at the palace till he gets fully healed. She was there taking care of him. Giving him food and medicine. Aditya and Vihaan were annoyed but never said anything to her.

A- Is it so necessary for her take care of him. I mean there are servants.

Vi- She feels guilty, because of her, his life is in danger.

A- Look at you, so understanding, maybe tell her to marry him again.

Vi- Well what do you want me say, i love you, don't go back to him, i can keep you happy. What?

A- You love her? Did you tell her that.

Vi- No, Aditya no time with a Assassin running around.

A- Well tell her on her birthday. It's coming in two days.

Vi- Yeah i will, but i hope she is away from that Vansh.

A- Aww, look at you so jealous.
