I guess she is still waiting for verbal negation of deal from Virat.....so this sudden narrowing of boundaries between them is scaring her....so she is reminding herself of the deal again...

See Sai feels there is something between her and virat for sure... her problem is heart vs mind

Virat knows that he cannot live without Sai but the problem is virats hesitation... he needed bhang to express his love...

Virat needs to be sober to realise its love... not pasand...

Like I said even though what virat did in holi was surprising to Sai she hasn’t registered it because her mind was diverted towards pulkit and devyani whether we like it or not... her priority at this point is Devi tai’s happiness and safety...

The other point would be her belief that virats loves pakhi... she always says he loves her even after Virat told her that I want you to come with me and pakhi to Ladakh... I will feel good if you come, this is another clear hint but post the entire fight when Sai confronted Virat she said that he hides his feelings for pakhi... why did she say that! Well because Virat doesn’t give it off to pakhi when pakhi buts in their relationship...

For Sai reminding her self constantly about the deal is a way for her mind to convince her heart to not fall for Virat...

both Virat and Sai are in this fight of heart vs. mind...

they never thought that the promise they made to each that they shouldn’t expect anything from each other and that the marriage is a deal would turn into a real one...

It’s a tussle between what the promise was vs. what has transpired and the attachment/ love that has blossomed between them...

that is why the separation is necessary for them to realise they cannot stay without each other... for them to understand that they are made for each other and our in love

Bold : I agree. People say Virat is pendulum but nowadays it's Sai who's behaving like one. She was kinda sober not to see the advances Virat made at holi and also trying to be close to her. Atleast not love , she should try to respect the marriage and stop calling it a deal at the first place.

@bold yes, but this won't stop her from falling in love. Right now she is not in love. She is trying not.to get carried away with her emotions mainly so that she doesn't get attached to him.

@green yes, even if she realises her love, she is not going to say it until she understands or realises that Virat holds no feelings for Pakhi.

But this realisation need not be only through Virat's words, I believe, she will realise it on her own. He would have his own reasons not to verbalise certain things. I will be happy once she realises her love for him. That would eventually push her to understand his feelings too.
