Everything you said is so on point. Even when his mom was shot and no one got him, he came home late, he refused badi ma to serve him dinner or to tlk to her. He time and time again says...you can do this..or not, its okay, im fine either ways.

In the apology scene he broke down when he told his mom "dad always thought you are right, you thought you are right..meri parwah kisine nahi ki...but it's okay (with a half hearted smile)" ufff

this will be a milestone in their r-ship!
