That "Haar nahi manenge" has such a potential. Kaas they have concentrated on that aspect without going for Samosa. I still have hope that this episode is the base for their upcoming storyline. The main story will focus on these 5 people who left their heart in Lahore and how they start their new life in a new place. That group promise will one day help them all meet and even if they will be separated then also they won't accept defeat and will try to build their own world. This track will do wonders if executed correctly. Right now I am ignoring Dev Babu RKP wala promo and actually excited for their individual journey.

Till the 1965 war the VISA regime was pretty relaxed between the countries, so technically Farooq should have no problem coming in/going out.

Even if there were not too many legalities as mentioned by @ThePirateKing, it was not a cake walk for someone from another religion to enter even with visa because there was lots of distrust. The year in particular is difficult since neighbours were becoming enemies, Ind took Pak to UNSC for Kashmir issue and East Pak wanted to become independant, so lotsa turmoil with that too. Either ways he is not going to formally enter, he will take an illegal route.
