Presently

Riddhima's POV

So it was him...Vansh Raisinghania.

His smirk changed into anger..His eyes shot daggers at me! Throwing his ciggerate out of the window, he strode towards me and I was sandwiched between the wall and him. He held my arms so tight that his nails dug into my skin

"Now, tell me, sweetheart, how dare you not answer my calls?" He said with a dangerously calm voice. I could feel my tears rolling down my eyes.

Vansh's POV

Is she crying- wait I realised I held her way too tightly and left her immediately

Author's POV

" Now you are gonna be punished for ignoring my calls" Vansh said with a devilish glint in his eyes.

"Wh-what?" Riddhima stammered

" We are going to get married in the next three days" he continued..."and don't you dare escape, the consequences won't be good" Vansh completed with a smirk

He felt a sting in his left cheek- Riddhima slapped him.

"Are you crazy?!" She shouted

Vansh looked at her with a strange fire in his eyes.

"Now, someone else will pay your price" he smirked

and left while Riddhima stood there thinking what he meant

The next morning

Sejal texted Riddhima

"Riddhu turn on the TV!"

Riddhima was in no mood but still did

" Breaking News- Business Tycoon Rithvik Mathur found dead in his office this morning"( Remember Mr. Mathur?)

The cup fell from her hand and the tea spilled all over the carpet while she stood frozen. Something rang in her ears

"Now, someone else will pay your price"

"Oh...my..god" Riddhima gasped her eyes welling up repeatedly reading the channel's headlines.

Just then she received a call from an unknown number

"See, sweetheart..For your mistake, someone else had to pay the price." He chuckled

"W-why di-d you k-k-kill him?" Riddhima stammered in her sobs

He ignored her and ordered..

"There is a car outside. Get into it..otherwise I have to take another soul" Vansh threatened and cut the call.

Riddhima went outside and saw a Mercedes waiting for her on the otherside of the road. Fearing, who else that psycho might kill, she got into it.

VR Mansion

Vansh's POV

I cut the call. Mathur is my rival and my Riddhima worked with him. I told Riddhima that he paid the price of her slap was just to scare her. I would kill him anyways...

I sipped my black coffee and remembered something

Flashback

"1,2,3,4....10! Riddhu, did you hide?" A boy shouted opening his eyes

"Yes, Ansh!" He heard a cute little voice far away from the left among the chattering of the people and the chirping of birds in the park

The boy looked around and saw a little head with pigtails hiding behind a tree.

"Found You!" He shouted with joy and excitement and started walking towards the tree. But before he could reach...

"BOOM!" Everything turned orange-

"Most of the bodies got burnt in the bomb blast. Its impossible to recognise anyone"

Injured little Vansh cried hearing the news while his parents consoled him.

Flashback ends
(But there is a twist😉)

Vansh blinked his eyes and realised he was crying.

"I WILL NEVER MARRY A BEAST LIKE YOU!" Riddhima's scream echoed through the mansion hearing his order

"Looks like you want me to remove Sejal from this world" he smirked

Helpless, riddhima agrees to marry him

"Angre?" Vansh asked hopefully

"Yes boss, I found it" Angre answered and handed him a file

*after reading it*

"I am so lucky...." Vansh smiled teary eyed

"The pandit is here and Riddhima is also ready, sir" Mrs D'Souza informed Vansh

"How is Riddhima?" He asked

"Still emotionless and sad" She answered

"Soon, she will be fine, let's go" Vansh slightly smiled and headed to the mandap where a helpless Riddhima dressed as a bride was waiting....

| Chapter 5 |

3 months leap

Riddhima's POV

Its been 3 months of my marriage with that beast- wait he's not actually that bad..except that being a business tycoon, he is also an underworld mafia😬

His only family is his sister Siya after his parents death. Siya became like my sister within a week. One day I had very high fever..Vansh was awake all night taking care of me. Other day, I fell down the stairs and broke my hand. Vansh cancelled all his important meetings and stayed in home for a week taking care of me and feeding me with his own hands. I am starting to accept our marriage slowly..I came out of my lalaland hearing the clattering sounds of water hitting the ground outside.
It started raining. Something flashed in my mind

Flashback

One day (Before the bomb blast)

"Yaar, Riddhu enough of drenching in the rain, you will catch cold! The boy asked concerned standing under a tree

" Arreh! Ansh, what are you doing there come here, na! The little girl pulled him under the sky. Eventually he also enjoyed the rain and they both were jumping on the puddle, hand to hand, laughing

Flashback end

"Where are you...I miss you so much" Riddhima thought sadly

Presently Riddhima was sitting on the window pane looking at the water droplets falling from the sky

"What are you thinking" Vansh came in the room with two cups of coffee in his hand.

"Nothing.. Just someone special." Riddhima took a cup while Vansh took a sit on the other side of the window pane.

"Special?" Vansh asked sipping his coffee

Riddhima nodded her head and look down at the cup of coffee in her hand sadly.

"Is it Ansh?" Vansh asked sipping his coffee again

Riddhima looked up at him widened eyes

"How do you...." words stuck in her throat

"Riddhu, you are still an idiot..Do you even remember Ansh's real name or forgot it after naming him Ansh because you couldn't pronounce 'V'?"

Reality struck Riddhima..

Flashback
"Yes boss, I found it" Angre handed him a file
It was Riddhima's profile from the orphanage. There was written that she was brought in the hospital with a few burns on her legs. Weeks after her recovery, she was put in an orphanage after not finding anything about her family.

"I am so lucky....." Vansh smiled after reading it because all these years he thought his Riddhu died in the blast.
(Riddhima had her grandma, who died a few days later in heart attack after knowing about the blast and her being missing)

Flashback end

"Ansh.." Riddhima whispered looking at Vansh tears welling up in her eyes

Vansh immediately hugged her and both broke down in each others embrace

"I thought I lost you..I love you, Riddhu.." Vansh cried

"If you love me this much, why did you force me to marry you? You could have just propose me!" Riddhima asked angrily

"Would you accept my proposal?" Vansh narrowed his eyes

Well he was right.. A random rich guy would come and propose Riddhima.. Would she accept it? Nope.

"Ansh.."

Vansh hummed still hugging her tightly

"I love you too!" She finally confessed..

| Epilogue |

I want chocolate cake!"

"No, I want pizza"

"Chocolate cake!!"

"Pizza!"

"No, papa, mumma will be make chocolate cake only!"

"Riddhima, make pizza!"

"NOOO! CHOCOLATE CAKE!"

"No chocolate cake"

"YES chocolate cake!!"

"No"

"YES"

"No"

"SHUT UP, BOTH OF YOU!" Riddhima shouted while the crow sitting on a tree nearby flew away

Both father-daughter duo zipped up their mouths..

~silence~

"Call me when you two decide what to eat" Riddhima turned off the stove and left the kitchen angrily

"Papa, mumma got angry.." little Riva looked at Vansh worriedly

"Your mom's name should have been Ziddima not Riddhima" Vansh told his daughter and chuckled

"Let's go to mumma" Riva suggested and pulled Vansh with her upstairs to their room

Vansh is still the dangerous business tycoon for the world whose name is enough to bring shivers. But he left the mafia world. I can't help but fall in love with him deeper, everyday.
I love how he doesn't hide anything from me. I got my best friend back and thats all that matters. He is the bestest husband and my heart. And Riva? She is our heartbeat. She is a complete carbon copy of Vansh. Always worrying about me. And Vansh is her partner in crime. For Riva, her papa is the best. But they argue over silly things which annoys me me to no limits

They went up and saw Riddhima standing and looking out the window, her nose flared up. Riva left Vansh's hands and went towards her mom

"Mumma, I am sowwy" Riva made her famous puppy eyes holding Riddhima's hands and that was enough to melt her

"Now let's go, Ziddima, and make pasta, our all time favourite" Riva said happily while Vansh's face went pale

"Ziddima?!" Riddhima scrunched her eyebrows

"Papa said that your name should've been Ziddima and not Riddhima" Riva answered

"YOU!" Riddhima glared at Vansh like a lioness looks at her prey

Within seconds Vansh ran out of the room to be saved from his angry wife's clutches while Riddhima chased him leaving Riva alone in the room

Their daughter palmed her forehead "Oh no..they started fighting again"
