Oh yesss the symbolism is true! The chain was given to Rani's mom by Ramadheer. And Veer tied it around her neck. It symbolizes their journey and love. He said "Your mom, you called her amma right? Her last token (nishani) is very beautiful Rani. You kept it with you for so many years. This doesn't have rust on it, it has her love. Don't polish it, just keep it with you like this carefully".

UL- So he tied her mom's last token. which symbolizes love and asked her not to polish it. Asked to keep it carefully.

It's kind of Veer hinting to keep his love too like that. He made her wear with love. He must have asked her to keep their love carefully. It's really a new beginning in their relationship with love and care. Now it doesn't have only her love but his love too.
