Hrithik Roshan to play a dreaded gangster in Vikram Vedha remake - Page 4

Has it been confirmed? I did not see HR announcing it officially.

When "pretty boy" Heath Ledger was picked for tge joker role by Nolan, it was alleged that everyone in the Nolan's team opposed it. Well, the rest is history. But, Heath's face was painted all the time in the movie.

Hrithik is too pretty to play vedha. I can't remember if he ever played a rustic character. Hope he will surprise us in a good way and not in the mein prem ki deewani hoon way.

I feel like I fell into a time warp. What year is this? This is a MAN not a pretty boy. And certainly not an untested actor who hasn't shown his range.

The idea that SRK suits a badass gangster better because he's not as attractive is so odd. SRK has never been this imposing and physically powerful on screen in his life.

^^^ u don’t need to be physically powerful and imposing to be a badass gangster . Look at the whole cast of Gangs of Wasseypur.

What exactly is the complaint then? That Hrithik isn't 5'6 and homely? Is that the criteria for being a badass gangster?

Vedha is a physically imposing character as played by Vijay. That's more important to nail than Hrithik being too attractive. He's not only physically imposing in War, his swag levels are off the charts which also fits Vedha.

Why they remaking this mocie? They can't do what Maddy and Vijay did so what's the point ? Also one of the highlights of the movie was the bg score but they stole that music for the ghetto tanhaji movie..

My point is that playing a sexy James Bond type character is not the same as playing some goon brought up in slums. They would have to brownface him again just like Super 30

I doubt if he will ever look 'dreaded' from any angle .
