No, in KD, they never had any such intentions or thoughts. They will be shocked to know with Roopkotha's behavior in the future and would want her to leave the house too.
In the hospital scene, they would not allow her to meet Rono saying when she refused to return home with him, why does she have to come and meet him now. They will blame her for Rono to have taken up that mission if I remember right.
Ofcourse, RK will be with Rono and the next day when Emon manages to get into the room, Rono and Emon become a team and will show Roopkotha her place.
In KD, though they were evil, they weren't as evil as these people. I feel it was a little subtle too. Their characters were not this loud.
One will be able to see disapproval towards Rono's marriage. I can say, there was hatred or disgust towards Emon and inability to accept her as the DIL of their house.
It was also because everything in their house was challenged by Emon and Emon as a character was not as mild or subtle or soft as Sai, she was ruthless, never used to care about her actions sometimes, spits fire while talking and was always ready to fight.
Also Rooopkotha, though evil wasn't as evil as Pakhi, she was toned down there, so the gang were sympathetic towards her. Even audience can connect to Roopkotha when compared to Pakhi. She plays games, taunts but it wasn't as ugly as what Pakhi is doing. So the family leaning towards Roopkotha, can be understood to some extent. But they never had any intentions like how you are saying they had in Tamil.
In Hindi, they have gone mad. In Tamil, it was like that? May be, I think I remember that Kaku in Tamil used to asked Sathya to keep Vikram away from Saranya with wrong motives 🤦♀️😡
