If they are so concerned about TRP, why not go for a time slot where they can get a decent number. Why opt for the most competitive slot and then ruin the show by writing these nonsense? They could have easily get the 10.30 pm slot and without any competition they could have shown the original story . They still have time for this. Just go a less competitive slot and show something which is worth for this wonderful cast.
