The suspense is fantastic, they are building it pretty well! Though my gut says it is Sai hearing the whole thing... kaku was asking Omkar where the phone went... I have a feeling Mohit is involved and karishma tells him everything she never hides it from Mohit! (Thanks to her big mouth) she might have told Mohit what she heard and Mohit might have stolen the phone, he’s quite capable!
I4 think she genuinely cares for Sai and she said she supports Sai because she was right in other instances but she isn't here. A very Virat dialogue 😆
I just think its writers needing some drama for today so they wrote this bit in 😆 They probably want her against Sai for the elopement track and this was their easiest way to do it......
Of course Ashwini cares genuinely for Sai. I'm not contending that at all.
I'm just questioning her convictions. If her support always comes from a strong belief in Sai's actions. It's understandable that as a victim of years of abuse, Sai's support would have lifted her self-esteem. So she would have sub-consciously taken Sai's side every time, because she is the only one who makes her feel good about herself.
Or may be like you say, this extra bit was added just to create drama...
