Also, because I haven't watched the serial before- what's the background of Kavya-Sarang? I can see it looks like unrequited love on Kavya's part, but interestingly appears that Kamleshwari is aware of it. Did Kavya and Sarang grow up in the same town?

Kavya was one of the first friends Sarang made in Mumbai, the other was Ramesh bhau his taxi driver friend & mentor- i miss him he was full of wisdom, and guided & grounded Sarang very well.
Anyway Kavya fell in love with Sarang, she kind of pushed Sarang into trying to be boyfriend-gf & went on a date but Sarang never saw her as more than a friend. She very soon realised Sarang loved Alia so they broke it off.
sarangs mother spoke to her on the phone a couple of times & exchanged numbers.

She might be others' fav character but whenever she used to call Sarang Boyfriend I was 🌚🌚🌚

Kavya angle is totally unnecessary in whole show. Romantically I meant. I always wanted platonic bond between Her & Sarang.

Totally agree- I hated her ‘doras’ on Sarang! It just felt Wrong

I still don’t like how much importance she’s given though she’s shown as a good person. Probably as we know Saralia are the end game & we connect to Alia & are not used to the 3rd party in a couple being anything but a villain in tv land! This show is a bit too close to reality sometimes :))

I hate those flirty smiles & unecessairy being extra touchy with him. Even after knowing Sarang doesn't like her but Alia - she keeps doing these

She's supposed to be positive character but harqatein...🤢

Another nice episode today.

I was a bit worried about the direction the show would take when the Mathura folks landed in Mumbai, but they've handled it well so far, and the pace has again been good.

Short update

Rahul asks Sarang if he isn't leaving office. Sarang says he wants to discuss something with Alia, to which Rahul replies that she's already left. Sarang surprised and disappointed, but leaves.

Kavya leaves Kamleshwari at the chawl. At the same time Sunita phones Kamleshwari saying that she must do something to stop Bua-Elaichi. Kamleshwari phones Nandini, who arrives at the house to foil Bua-Elaichi's plans

Kusum telling everything about Alia shouting at Sarangdhar to BMP. Very weird, I thought this character was semi-positive, and Sarang had clearly told her not to go and tell his mother/father this. 😕 Kamleshwari intervenes and tells her off for her loose tongue.

Alia waiting at the dinner place. Phones Sarang, who cuts the call. She then dials Kamleshwari, who gives the phone to Sarang.

Sarang arrives at the dinner venue and says he thought the date would be cancelled because of their "jhagda". Then we have the precap part from yesterday. Alia is wearing her engagement ring on her finger, and orders Kadhi-Chawal for dinner because that is what Sarang had asked his mother to make.

When they leave for home and and are driving, Rabia calls, and Alia says she'll speak when she reaches home. Sarang says he's taking his mother out to see Mumbai (Sunday tomorrow), and asks Alia if she will come. Alia, aware that she shouldn't travel because of the pregnancy, says she needs "me time" and says it isn't essential that they stay together 24x7. Sarang disappointed, but agrees. Tells Alia that he is going to meet Kavya. Alia says the time is late, but doesn't object.

Sarang meets Kavya and gives her the news of him marrying Alia. Kavya gifts him a watch.

Elaichi and Bua are cleaning the house, but they've put water everywhere. The secretary of the building knocks on the house. There Sarang is ready to take his mother out, but she asks to bring Alia, and he remembers what she had said last night

Precap- folks questioning Alia why she isn't sacking Sarangdhar when his mistake has cost the company.

These office stuffs I never liked them.

Sarang has always been the sweet one, helping people all the time, even defended Mala when she was about to lose job and thats how they payback his kindness🤢

When I saw today's sneak peek from Sony, with Sarang calling Kavya his best friend, I thought they had to be childhood friends 😲 And the way Kavya said he's been present in "khushi and dukh" of her life made me feel this was some long time friendship.

There's absolutely no way a Mumbai cafe owner, and a hopeful writer from Mathura would ordinarily be best friends in under 2-3 months. There'd certainly be better logical candidates for the tag of Sarang's "best friend" tag than her surely?

That being said, the actress playing Kavya is kinda cute though and I haven't seen her before in the serial, so I'll overlook her previous transgressions 😃

Haan dosti within 2 meetings and pyaar in 2 months. Maggie in 2 minutes.

IK best friend tag is🤪 and seriously I ROFLed when Sarang compared RaLia friendship to him & Kavya's one lol. Rabia is basically Alia's family, when Rabia calls Alia jaan, IK she means it. Kavya & Sarang had probably 2-3 breakdown moment where they pacified each others. Thats it.

Shruti (Kavya) is damn cute I agree😳
